Anyone remember in Year 1 when you could buy white ,green and (sometimes) blue engrams from the Cryptarch for Glimmer? Anyone ever buy them just so you could pittle around with a different weapon in Crucible or Patrol, what about buying a new armor or class item just so you can stroll around looking good? I always thought that was pretty fun to do, especially since you could just keep buying them until you got one that you thought would be interesting(very good way to spend Glimmer if you just simply wanted it gone). I don't really understand why they took this out to begin with, yeah they gave us the ability to buy legendaries from him but only for Legendary marks, which is cool and all but they kinda just completely got rid of an option that really never hurt anything as far as I could tell. The new guys could go and try their luck (maybe that was the reason) and the more advanced players could just screw around (never a bad thing... generally). I'd definitely like to see these make a comeback at some point, maybe give the option for Year 1 engrams and Year 2 engrams. What do y'all think? If you'd like to see this added please vote and like to try and get Bungie's attention. Edit: Might be too much to ask but if Bungie could remove the light requirements off of the Ghosts and Class Items... that'd be great.
