Story and and more than three game modes. Also variety, there are thousands of different weapon and gear loadouts in destiny.

Editado por BIGwillestylz: 6/3/2016 7:44:36 AMBahahahahahahahahhaha is this satire? Multiple weapons tell my longbow from year one that. It pisses me off you know I now have to wait for a longbow from year 2 to drop. All bungie wants is 1. Your money 2. To increase the grind for shit. 3. They literally nerf and buff what they want us to use not what needs adjusted. Thus, negating the use of the "multiple weapons". So by number destiny has more weapons. Judging by effectiveness overwatch has 5 x more. 4. They reuse maps and strikes and call it new. 5. Things stay broke for months I can not argue that yes destiny has something that resembles a story (even though it's on cards that you have to grind for the read) and overwatch does not. However, the pvp experience on overwatch is far superior to anything destiny has ever had.

'increase the grind for shit'? The grind for shit has been massively reduced, we used to have to farm spinmetal etc, only have a few exotic chances each week and the raid was the only way to max light...

Editado por HalfY: 6/3/2016 10:27:23 AM
The grind for shit has been massively reduced
Only took 8+ months and a declining player base for that to happen. The grind for max light is cyclic in this game. At the start of the year its hard as hell and takes some serious luck from RNG to hit max light, as players get bored and start leaving Bungie throw in a new system make it easier and bring back players. Year 1 - Vanilla/TDB pretty dam hard to hit max light, then HoW comes out along with Etheric Light and everyone is max level with multiple gear sets Year 2 - TTK releases, new light leveling system, everyone struggling with the triple RNG drops, 320 gear is rare as hell, then April update hits infusion is 1:1 and gear finally drops around your level. people are max light with multiple gear sets again I'm betting the same shit will happen when year 3 starts and this new DLC comes out, the improved infusion will either be scrapped or adapted to make it hard as hell to reach max light again and cycle begins again.............

Do you want it to be easy?
-
good question I want the leveling system to be easy and as rewarding as it is now, I dont want it to be so reliant on luck as to whether I get gear that is worth it But I want the content to be harder to deserve those rewards
-
That sounds like the balance most want it's just really tough to find it while giving everyone a chance and keeping people with loads of time to play interested
-
Are you that naive? They didn't decrease it. They changed it. You are right you used to have to grind for materials. Now you grind for weapons and light levels and stuff you already have or had in the past, Through events you have done before.
People with out legendary marks still need to grind for materials btw just saying
-
Not more grind though is it?
-
Well it could go either way. The best way to make my point isotope say With this update that was free caused us to grind for things we already did the grind for. I have tons of hours played and one day I realized there is really nothing great about this game. One day I hope you understand it as well
-
I hope one day you learn that grind in a game is good, I enjoy games more when I'm grinding for something
-
To each their own. I'd grind for a gun like I hopscotch pilgrim. But I refuse to grind for shit I already had. Grind can be good but it can also impose a feeling of why the -blam!- am I doing this again.
-
Not everyone thinks that way
-
Other than iron banner and Too your old longbow is still relevant. I've been kicking ass with my vision of confluence this week. It's not bungies fault people only use one weapon and then get bored of it and bitch about the game. Use different weapons and the variety and fun will find its way back into destiny for you. My kd may be shit but I use every type of weapon available to keep it fresh.
-
You can't compete that way and it's not a fair fight.
thus (ITS NOT BALANCED)
-
It's not supposed to be balanced, there are supposed to be superior weapons. That's the whole point. You get superior weapons to compete and other guns for the fun and challenge.
-
So crucible success is and should be directly related to rng? I believe that's what you are saying:

Editado por Munsonator89: 6/3/2016 8:34:40 AMIn a looter shooter game, yes.

Fair enough. Good points and you just further convinced me destiny isn't for me. Great talk.

Nothing is for everyone, have a great day.
