and jail bait. Nope.
He sat down but kept space. It was good to get to know the people you could be working with.
eh, she's smarter than most twenty years old already lol.
"Yes. I don't remember much of the lab I was built in, however... I do remember it being a lab. I remember the tests."
-
ehh, intelligence isn't the point.
"Was it the triumvirate who made you?"
-
if it's looks, then she has the body of a twenty year old as well.
"They weren't, no. I was made by a company that was bought by Kaguya Electronics. Once we were purchased, I was sent here as an employee. I still don't know my way around much..."
-
not looks he's old enough to be her father for one, barely but still. 28 and 10 maths I can do. and these two don't have to be a thing.
"Did you not get a map of the place? Seems kind of inconsiderate of them."
-
it's not like she's a human either lol. She's a robot. She was made like that. She could be five, ten or forty. She'd be the exact same.
"I downloaded one, of course. But still... this place can get a little confusing."
-
[Chris Hansen] "why don't you have a seat, have a seat right here."
"First time on a space station then?"
-
wut
"Yeah... I lived in an underground complex for five years. Lived on the surface for five more. I've been here for only a day or so..."
-
to catch a predator?
"It gets easier, I've spent plenty of time in space."
-
nope
"Well then. Thank you for the support." She smiles. "I've told you my story, why not tell me yours?"
-
lol
"Well, not much to tell, I've always been a soldier, and when I made some enemies and went to prison for it, the triumvirate h got me out."
-
"I'm sure there is something to tell. It can't all be that boring now..." She chuckles.
-
"I've fought in my share of battles, visited star systems, and the like. But there's not much to say about the former and the latter isn't as interesting as one thinks."
-
"I've always wanted to see the stars. Visit exotic worlds, see the limitless possibilities of people, experience the thousands of cultures..."
-
He chuckled. "I once shared your enthusiasm, if that's true, you're in the wrong line of work. I can count on one hand how many cultures are really all that different, and of those most of them I was an enemy. The stars are beautiful but after awhile... The terrible things you see blinds you."
-
"Oh don't be so pessimistic. There's plenty of beauty out there! I know it. And I'm going to find it."
-
"I honestly hope you do. What is it that they have you doing here anyway?"
-
"I'm part of the stealth teams. My Cybernetics help me greatly in that field. What about you?"
-
"I don't know, probably special operations, seeing as that's what I have experience in. But who knows they might stick me on asset protection."
-
"Well, by the looks of it they have many different positions available. I'm sure you'll fit in just right."
-
"Like I said, it's what I know, I'm not worried about it. Well I've taken you're time enough." He stood. "I'll see you around Rosie."
-
"What? Leaving already? But we haven't had a drink yet..." She sighs. "Alright then... bye, I guess..."
-
He stopped for a moment. "You can get drunk?" A hint of skepticism in his voice, he wasn't aware machines could get drunk.
-
"Well... not drunk, exactly. Though my artificial liver can recreate the effects of alcohol in my nanocellular stream. In other words, I suppose you could say that I indeed can get drunk."
-
"Why?" He couldn't seem to understand, so he sat down across from her, turning the chair around so he could lean into the chair back.
-
"My creators wanted me to be as 'human' as possible. Down to the most nit picky detail."
