New Secret in Mission for an Exotic or Not???
So me and my friend discovered this awhile back, when the Taken King Exclusive Mission called Last Rites is the daily heroic (haven't checked on normal mode yet) but anyway on the DAILY HEROIC version of this mission at the part where you become cloaked you can't shoot or go into the red circles right? Well that's wrong... You can kill the wizards. I'm not sure if this is known but while you go invisible you have to be fairly far but you can snipe the wizards and kill them without being detected. Now be careful when you do this because every time you fire your silhouette becomes more red. You shoot a few times and wait to let the red cool down then shoot again. We could only kill the wizards though. Now if we kill all wizards (we didn't do that yet) there may or may not be some exotic weapon or secret or maybe it's a glitch and you're not supposed to kill them? Who knows I just thought I would tell you guardians so next time it is a daily heroic you can try it, and if there is a secret exotic make sure to inform me.

I don't know why I didn't think of this... But when you get "caught" you teleport to them... And they kill you. That being said, if you kill them... Then get caught, you will teleport... But they [i]shouldn't[/i] be there.... Maybe it will change the sequence of events in the level? ... I honestly doubt it, but if anyone wants to try it, or did, just lemme know what happened!

When TTK first dropped, the only way to acquire the grimoire card for the sisters at oryx was to kill them in that mission. Spent some time perfecting the shot but that's all you got.

2 RespuestasThere isn't any exotic for it. Your able to shoot your gun the entire mission when cloaked. Doing so will teleport you to the witches and you will end up dying. You can make it to the witches where you collect the Crota's soul (or whatever that is). You can kill the two witches there but don't get any exclusive items. I have done it before and if I remember correctly at best it gives you a Gilmore card. Nothing special here

So far we found secrets hidden in some of these missions. Is it possible that all heroic mission have some sort of secrets waiting to be discovered? Same with nightfall. If you think about it a lot of these daily heroic are fairly easy. I feel like we need to explore this some more including nightfall a. For example during the dust palace nightfall. There's a section that is shielded off (right before you go into the last part to fight the flayers). I wonder if that part is accessible by some secret.

32 RespuestasYou're close, but you didn't account for the time dilation, which is what most people miss. The gun is an upgraded necrochasm, but it doesn't exist in our current timeline. It can't, because we already killed Crota and created the gun. That timeline has concluded. You have to enter the mission from a timeline where Crota never died; where the ceremony isn't about putting his soul to rest but actually about increasing the power of his sword world in order to take on Oryx directly. That's where the vex come in, specifically the vault of glass. The vault is a self contained paradox across time and space (which is how Atheon and the vault created each other, possibly with some interference from Kabr), which means that all iterations of it must also exist, including, and this is the important bit, one where the hive, not the guardians took down Atheon. To do that, you have to tweak history just a little bit. Fight through the vault like normal (with a full fireteam) until you reach Atheon. Then, when he teleports three people into the future (very important, this will not work if you go to the past) the three left behind have to immediately wipe. Doesn't matter how. The other three will eventually be lost to time, effectively written out of history. At this point, you have to leave the raid fireteam and immediately go to the story mission (has to be the daily). It will all be the same until you reach the main room. You'll know you're doing it right when Ghost says something about how something seems wrong. He'll talk about some readings that shouldn't exist. At that point, you're locked in, so go nuts (just don't wipe) and kill the deathsingers. After that, Crota will appear, except he's got Vex upgrades all over. Mechanically, he's the same as the raid version except that he is more aggressive between swords (he can and will follow you into the safe zone, so keep moving). Once he's down, he'll drop an item. Take it to Banshee. He'll send you to Lakshmi. She'll give you a swanky new gun and some foreboding dialogue that I hope they flush out in the next major expansion.

A while back me and a friend killed everything on the level with seconds 2 spare we got nothing you have to kill the wizards and then thrall then oryxs right hand and another big ass dude before you get teleported out by eris

3 RespuestasSome other have said it, but that's how you kill em for grimoire. Might take a minuite, but if you're card collecting it's worth it. You can do it on any difficulty. Cool ya found it on your own though.

Nothing special I'm afraid, as people have said they only give the grimorie cards for the sister. Which reminds me I need to get the cards haha.

The sisters you can kill them in order to get their Grimoire Cards unlocked. If you kill Ir'Yut, she just respawns after about 10 seconds or so.

10 RespuestasPeople know in advance about new exotics and quests by data mining the Destiny database. I've never bothered (I prefer to play the game) but it's available on line All quests for exotics are already known about

2 RespuestasIn order to get the secret mission, you have to capture Ir Yut and the two daughters with a pokeball. Make sure that you weaken them enough before capturing them or else they will escape. Sleeper simulant does a great job.

Originally it was thought to be the way to get the exotic version of Fang of Ir Yut. Much like the Black Spindle is the exotic version of Black Hammer. However, nothing has come to fruition. All efforts ended in dead ends and failures. There could be something else but we don't know.

Late last year some buddies and I did this on the daily, we also took it a step further and killed both death singers (Ir Yut?) within seconds of each other. Nothing happened, no quest or reward. But if y'all know something I don't please share.

1 RespuestaI've killed both before and I did not get no exotic quest or mission. However I did get grimoires cards for the two wizards I killed.

I used to think that there was something in this, a long time ago. There is a scan able object which hints that you're going the wrong way so I ran the lamps backwards, we killed all wizards but not the ogre and knight! Then I gave up looking.

It was the only way to get the sisters' Grimoire cards. If you said, "killing both of the Taken ultras at the end before you are teleported away gives you Thagomizers", that would be more believable, but I already know that won't work, because I killed them both with a friend of mine to test it out.

The only secret to that mission is that it was previously the only way to unlock the Grimoire cards for killing the sisters. Not many people could figure it out though, so they patched the game so players could get those cards from the raid instead.
