Y'know I find it funny how the same people who don't want a higher minimum wage, also don't want people on welfare. Like, do you just want the poor to suffer and die or something? Why do you think people in jobs are on welfare? Because they don't have the income to support themselves from their jobs. Why any full time job should pay less than one needs to survive is completely beyond me. Forcing people to change jobs through low pay is just pointless and partly the reason fast food joints are such shitty places to work in the first place. A teenager doing weekends shouldn't be paid $800 a month sure, but a mother of two who works full time shouldn't be paid $400 a month. Which is the lesser of the two evils?
