5 RespuestasIts a massive coincidence that memorial day for americans falls within a few days of the 100th(?) aniversary of the battle of jutland. For those of you who dont know what that is its a naval battle in ww1 between britain and germany, at the time the 2 most powerful navys in the world. Britain narrowly won if i remember correctly.

14 RespuestasEditado por frankhail306: 5/31/2016 1:23:38 PMMy great grandfather was in ww2 he had 130 sniper kills he got information from Germans and he was in a swamp for 3 days with the mud up to his neck and his team waiting to attack some Germans he knew were hiding there to get information. Probably the coolest thing I've ever heard other then learning that my family and I are Russians when I was 4 XD (I was not that smart back then)

My great cousin was in the military. He went to pay for his college. He's also really -blam!-ing ripped compared to how scrawny he was before joining, definitely someone you don't want to mess with.

1 RespuestaHappy Memorial Day for all of those who lost a soldier

3 RespuestasWth is with the person who moved this they've got no respect for the military
-
2 RespuestasSalute My great grandfather fought in WW2, and my brother is currently enlisted. Whatever the actual precise purpose of today is, salute the troops.
-
17 RespuestasMemorial Day is about military service members who are no longer living. It's not about those who are currently alive hence the word memorial, as in "memory." Troop worship really irritates me. I'm in, btw in case anyone wants to say anything.
