My personal opinion is that the stromcaller is a bit to strong. What i mean is 2 things that make It so strong.
Oh good another Jolly post!
1. Landfall. Why does It exist? Its a FoH in a warlock super. Yeah yeah It got nerfed but its till really stupid and should be removed.
It exists because Bungie created it, simple I know. The overall impact area and power of it has been decreased and it doesn't blind you anymore, so there is no problem for me there and when I use landfall. I forgot the name of it but it doubles the chance of your lightning to chain is the one that I use.
2. Ionic blink: like really? Blink in a super? Like are you for real? There is not blink for titans and there are 2 warlock subclasses that have blink.
Firstly there is only one class that is avalible to blink all of the time and that is Voidwalker! You need to have a super to use blink on a stormcaller (which costs a bit of super by the way). It's the only way they can go around the map quickly and try to confuse enemies there is no other way to dodge incoming fire and supers with thar subclass.
Disclaimer "This is NOT a hate post or whatever" Just my personal opinion what i think is a bit to strong"
You say that but by the way you are typing, it seems that you're getting tired of them for now. The only things I would change about them is decrease the chain chance, so they have a choice between faster movement and time to kill.
Or maybe decrease the attack radius, so it focuses on one person at a time (or two if they are next to each other). So the chain will still be there but it might take them a longer time to get that multikill.

So your saying that you don't use the exotic gauntlets that grant landfall? Cuz that would be a waste....
-
I don't use those beacuse they only help with my super. It doesn't fit with my playstyle (not enough strength) and I usually use my super to catch them off gaurd from a flank. Which is why I like the extra chance to damage people that are gerting chained from my attack.
-
But that exotic doesn't take chaining away, it just grants landfall.... so you would have both lol

Editado por Sol 5olis Deus: 5/29/2016 9:57:40 PMI would like one that increases reload speed to Pulse Rifles with extra strengh and intellect and faster melee attack speed. I guess I've got two out of three (missing reload speed with pulse rifles). Can you recommend any scout rifles that I can use for the crucible? Edit: I also know that I would get both of the abilities. I just don't use stormcaller like that often...
-
Popular: Mida Heavy hitter: covalences duty Mid: suros dis 43 or badger ccl Low: dis 47 or inward lamp. Honestly whatever works for you
-
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to use those gauntlets now. Maybe even use the scout rifle a lot more often it's one I've wanted to give a shot for a while now.
-
Blade dancers always have blink
-
Editado por Sol 5olis Deus: 5/29/2016 8:43:21 PMYes they do, unless they go stealth. I like double jump for stealth so I don't go back to being seen by everyone on the radar.
-
If you dont like my post just Fu*k off
-
Editado por Sol 5olis Deus: 5/29/2016 8:40:57 PMThat's it I was hoping for something from you, maybe if you give some feedback to people they might take you more seriously. You poke at supers that are fine and (with time) might be changed here and there but nothing to your opinions about them.
-
Yeah im sorry what i said okay? But why did you say " oh god not another Jolly post"?
-
Because a lot of your posts are you aiming at warlock supers that are balanced right now. They aren't beating everything in the game nor are they loosing to everything as well (just like the Sunbreaker)
-
Yes but i think that warlocks are super strong! You can KOBE a nade and get 180 dmg from that! Where is the skill there? And landfall you have a titan slam in a super! You get 1 Guy and then you go and zap ppl for 30 secs???
-
What did you think about my thoughs on what you said?
-
Editado por Sol 5olis Deus: 5/29/2016 9:45:56 PM
Yes but i think that warlocks are super strong!
Not as much armour as a titan unless they have Ram's head and increased armour for a certain subclass.
You can KOBE a nade and get 180 dmg from that! Where is the skill there?
Strikers grenades: You get 122 damage from lighting grenades (first hit 180 afterwards), nearly kill them with a flashbang grenade (blinding them) or secure an area for a couple of seconds with a Pulse grenade. Sunbreaker: 170 damage from Incendiary grenades, with a secured kill if DoT get's them. instant kill on a stick with a fusion grenade and controlling the floor of a lane or a chokepoint with a thermite grenade. Defender: Complete suppresion of a stormcallers super and good damage when they are close to impact with a supressor grenade. Instant kill with a magnetic grenade on a stick. Securing a wall with a spike grenade for a couple of seconds. My point is that a lot of grenades do about the same damage but the defender has one ot the best grenades in the game(my opinion).
And landfall you have a titan slam in a super! You get 1 Guy and then you go and zap ppl for 30 secs???
Firstly it does a lot less damage than a fist of havoc, secondly it's not a big impact anymore and it doesn't blind you. A majority of the time they will die after the Landfall because everyone would've heard it, saw it and shot at it. It can also be supressed, teamshotted, punched three times, two fusion/magnetic/tripmine grenades, every grenade kill a stormtrance in two. High impact sniper shot to the face, auto shotgun, shotgun melee, super their super. (Apart from securing an area one) I hope you reply to this! Thanks AnEvilHenchman3 for that information about the striker's grenade!

Why do ppl bitch about lightning nades? It takes 2 pulses to kill not like the wombo combo thats super OP
-
Wombs combo is not OP either! You should stop complaining about grenades that kill you. That's what they are designed for! You can easily step out of a "womb combo" and they do kill their targets but very rarely and they have to give up a melee charge and a grenade charge to do so. You could easily get one kill with a fusion grenade and you would still have a melee charge left over!
-
Editado por Sol 5olis Deus: 5/30/2016 1:19:59 PMI showed you a lot of other grenades that do damage but you are still complaining? Every grenade on every class has a chance of killing you in one explosion. (Apart from nightstalker) You're the only one that's bitching about lightning grenades recently.
-
Light ing grenade is 122 on first hit. Not 180.
-
Can you please tell me more so I can make it more accurate please? Thanks for your reply :)
-
Honestly the only reason I knew that off the top of my head was I just ran my titan yesterday for iron banner used those things everywhere lol
-
They are useful for control, it's even funnier when they just stand there and take the damage
