Bungie what the hell man.. How is it fair if I'm a 1.08KD player and my whole fire team is under 1400ELO, we are getting matched against 2200ELO players with 2.5KD??? That's so stupid!!!!
TRIALS IS NOT ENJOYABLE LIKE THIS!!
YOU HAVE THESE GUYS PREYING ON PEOPLE STRUGGLING TO GET TO THE LIGHTHOUSE!
Trials should be matched by tiers so everyone can be challenged without being dominated every round.. what the hell is ELO good for???
Guys, please bump this!
EDIT
I'm happy we have over 60 people sharing their ideas on here. Hopefully bungie notices what their players are asking for!

What is ELO?
-
Bump. I've said it a hundred times around here: once you go flawless on a character, that character is done with Trials for the week. Now, before you Trails sweaties start gnashing your teeth, I suggest that in addition to a block on toons that have gone flawless that there be a Flawless Tournament every weekend, where Flawless battle Flawless. Now THAT would show us who are the truly great players.
-
You would be asking for trials to be sbmm then? Elo also means absolutely nothing, elo farming is a thing, it can make bad players seem good and good players seem bad if they don't play often.

32 RespuestasI would like to see a flawless playlist implemented. Once you have been flawless you are put into a sweaty playlist against other flawless players. The rewards for the sweaty playlist need to be top tier end game rewards. eventually most people will go into this playlist, but at least everyone has a decent shot at going to the lighthouse, and the pub stompers will have more competitive matches right after they visit the lighthouse.
-
1 Respuestatrials shouldn't have skill based match making at all, it would be counter active to its purpose. where the best players compete.
-
1 RespuestaYou've been flawless 48 times and your mad about competition? Lol

16 RespuestasPeople with lighthouse grimoire shouldn't be matched with people with no lighthouse grimoire. Give us a chance...

7 RespuestasEditado por More Power: 5/30/2016 8:45:07 AMThere's a simple solution, if it were to be incorporated... which is for Bungie to announce... "Individuals or teams that have not gone flawless won't be matched against other teams (or with individuals in those teams) that have gone flawless that week." This would mean that you'll be automatically matched with teams closer in skill to your own as the week progresses. You'll at least have a chance. This would go a long way to limit the number of cheaters and fun police.

Editado por Ad0Nut1: 5/31/2016 11:46:58 PMHow about the 7-0 run then 8-0 wins we get matched up with some beaners. Im Hispanic so no I'll will to the Taco wielders but damn
-
add them as a friend and then watch them to see if they have gone into a game or not. if they are in orbit, don't queue for trials. Best way to avoid sweaty players is to add them to your friends list so you can see what they are doing.

1 RespuestaEditado por SlothxC93: 5/31/2016 8:55:04 PMTrials is an endgame activity, not everyone is supposed to get to the lighthouse. Raids are for the best pve players and trials is for the best pvp players. Harsh reality. The reward wouldn't be satisfying if the journey was easy.

10 RespuestasI'm average and have been to the lighthouse 50+ times.. just need to know how to use the meta, play well with your team. And, of course the rng to not get more than 1 god mode team along the way.
-
1 RespuestaI agree to this post because if you are 8-0 and you are about to go to the lighthouse the enemy beats you and you need to start over which is bull s!$?
-
Trials is not worth playing. I play destiny to relax. If i wanted to play competitive and really get into something i would play sport outside and interact with the world.
-
2 RespuestasSo much for their sbmm right
-
4 RespuestasAnyone remember year 1 trials where it didn't try to match you against players on the same wins as you, let you use boons whenever and was so much more fun? Ah good times
-
1 RespuestaI think Trials was specifically designed for Twitch. Basically, to increase the visibility of Destiny.

38 RespuestasEditado por jhowle9475: 5/29/2016 10:16:04 PMI REFUSE to play trials anymore. I've gotten what wanted out of the lighthouse and bounties. So, it's pointless to endure it since I couldn't give a rip about the player stats. Plus... like everything else in destiny...once you get what u want from a specific event, doing it anymore become less meaningful and almost dumb. Perhaps if there more to do at the lighthouse besides run around an empty social area just to open a chest; been there, done that and saw the few secrets there. Beyond that, it's just another dull map segment.. Oh and did I mention that trials has become a business for making real money. I mean seriously, when people started paying for carries, the game mode became dumb and the worst part of destiny as a whole.
-
Agreed. People that make it to the lighthouse over the weekend should be put in to another play list where only lighthouse people are pitched against each other!!
-
What about this: Your team searches for a trials match, once an opponent is found you get a 30 second timer to look at connection and player stats. Then both fireteam leaders have to "ready up" before flying in to start the match. If the 30 seconds runs out before "ready up" then it happens automatically. But if your fireteam leader sees red bars or people they just played or some other thing they don't like, they have the option to back out before flying in to start the match. This is all done with the current match making settings.

2 RespuestasIf your whole team has a 1.08 kd, you prob won't make it bro
-
5 RespuestasThis goes back to the skill based matchmaking system that Bungie tried to implement, only to receive backlash over it. Because if the game is looking to match players with similar stats, the servers weren't taking into account the connections of the players at the furthest ends of statistics. Imagine a 3.0 KDR team trying to find similar competition. They certainly won't find a team close to their location for connections to be even. It goes back to the issue trials & Iron Banner had when it was pairing people across the world together, causing significantly more lag. Do you really want to play a team, who's stats are similar to yours.... only for you to lag like crazy trying to kill them? That sounds better?
-
11 RespuestasThey should only allow people to go to the light house once per character. This way other players don't have to keep running into try hards. Let players play. Or just make going to the lighthouse a mission.
-
4 RespuestasLook, the tryhards want it to be miserable for most players. If it was setup the way you want it, no one would watch their streams and beg for a carry. The enjoy stomping on average players. Bungie needs the streamers because the fanbase has shrunk so much, no one outside of streamers talks about destiny anymore. It sucks bro, but thats the way it is. Im decent at pvp, but i get matched in trials against players on a whole other level, so i have never been, nor will i ever get to the lighthouse. I've accepted that, and so should most people. If all the average players quit going into trials, it would only be tryhards, and they would cry about sweaty matches. Then bungie will fix it. As long as all the regular player go in and become fodder, theres no reason to change it.
