Which Hawksaw roll should I keep?
I'm new to this whole perk thing, and although I have some idea of what is good, it is fun to get some opinions. I can usually choose between two similar weapons, but in this case, I have no idea!
One is the current vendor roll with:
SLO-19/SPO-28/SRO-57
Fitted stock/oiled frame
counterbalance
single point sling/smallbore
And the other has:
SLO-19/SPO-28/SRO-37
Perfect balance/feather mag
outlaw
single point sling/rifled barrel
Please comment what you would use and why! :)

Hawksaw/pdx doesn't need counterbalance. I have the rifled barrel, perfect balance hidden hand roll and it's just as accurate as the vendor hawksaw but with more range.

Random roll, by far. Range, accuracy, insta reload that rewards scoring headshots.

Keep both. I have 7 hand cannons and I like every single one of them so I keep em.

I don't understand why the vendor roll is winning. Why would you want Counterbalance if the stability is already extremely good? I understands that it makes the recoil vertical, but who cares? The recoil pattern without it pulls just slightly to the left, so it's easy to control. Outlaw is way more useful than Counterbalance in this situation.

I say use both of them enough to get a feel for the subtle differences if you really want to make an informed decision. Use it in pvp and even use it on different enemies on patrol. Test them at different ranges. You can even examine the spread each one leave by shooting at a fixed object like a wall or a rock(I'm not being sarcastic either). Right now, the general rule of thumb for weapon perks is to look for any combination that gives you the best possible range and stability. Range is tied directly to aim assist and stability is a given, and oh so important, especially with pulse rifles.

I got one with Full Auto, Perfect Balance and Smallbore. Haven't used it much but when I did it was quite the weapon.

Is this roll I found better than the vendor? Perfect balance, head seeker and rifled barrel.

Outlaw is an amazing perk it's one of my favorites. If you're good at getting headshots then that's the one to choose. If you're not that good at it then go for the vendor one

Counterbalance is not a must if the stability is good, and Hawksaw with Perfect Balance has that. Keep it and see how you like it. I know I would like it a lot!
