I heard DS3 was hard, but I thought that meant the boss fights. This is ridiculous though, I am dying EVERYWHERE.
It's so -blam!-ing frustrating when you clear out a ton of bad guys, only to accidentally roll into an axe and have to start from scratch again.
I can't stay alive long enough to collect 20,000 souls for the tower key.
Do you have to tip toe through the whole game?
Do you have to tip toe through the whole game?
No, u have to git gud But seriously, as my buddy told me when I first started ds1 and was sucking "it's a game u have to practice at"
-
Yeah, I'm starting to get the hang of it. I just realized the witcher expansion comes out tomorrow though. Maybe when that's done I'll give DS another try.
-
Playing ds2 at the minute and had to despawn just about every enemy in the iron keep to finish the level. After about an hour I just had to keep saying "you came here with no souls so it doesn't matter if I leave without any" after seeing my souls disappear for about the 20th time don't know why it was so hard for me to do
-
Lol, you'll get to a point where 20k is chump change. The other day, I lost 3mil and nearly cried
-
Shield up and stay frosty
-
Get gud
-
Try losing 2 million...
-
I doubt I'll make it that far. I play games to have fun. So far, I can't really say I've been enjoying the game.
-
Ah, not use to difficult games, I suppose? Go back to Destiny. Not trying to be an ass, but the game gets more and more punishing.
-
"Go back to destiny" Lol ouch, I'd rather punch a horse in the ass! I'm just not a huge fan of being so hesitant in a game. We'll see though, I've made some more progress today. Ill be back on the witcher tomorrow though. New DLC!
-
Hesitant? Come on. Souls is all about keeping your cool, and prediction. But have fun with BaW. Looks good, so far.
-
Try losing 500....
-
~nopes away~
-
I cried, only because it was a *shudders* Estoc spammer.
-
Damn. That's harsh... I lost mine to falling, then getting gangbanged by those saw assholes in the Undead Settlement when trying to get them... #FeelsBad
-
Ouch. And its alright, they were clearly not being used for anything.
-

Just keep throwing yourself at it. The thing that made me fall in love when my friend got me to seriously try the games is the "click." Every time you die in a stupid way, every time something completely unexpected kills you, you learn. At some point you'll turn around and realize that you just effortlessly passed everything that you were having trouble with. It's a great feeling. As for the key, if you've killed Deacons I recommend putting your sign down outside their room. It's an easy boss as long as you just keep killing, and at its level the payoff is pretty good.
-
There's too much shit in-between save points. I spent hours replaying the same 30 min. It's like destiny but worse.

Editado por Trestero: 5/29/2016 1:06:52 AMHmm, have you been getting shortcuts? Most areas have a layout that lets you open up shorter paths. For example, an elevator in the area before Vordt that lets you get from the very first bonfire in High Wall to his bossroom in around a minute. Where are you specifically? Some areas have dumber shortcuts than others, and there are some weird bonfire spots you can miss easily.
-
Well, I changed from an assassin to a warrior. It made a world of difference. Found the key for my new friend but when i got on the elevator to the short cut, I accidentally stepped off and when I tried to get back on, I rolled into the freaking elevator shaft. So didn't get the short cut and then died trying to find my lost souls... Pretty sure that means I lost 8000 for good. But the good news is, chopping em down instead of dancing for my life with the warrior.

So truthful, never played a souls game before this and I'm blown away. Love the difficulty, even though I die a lot I love that feeling when I learn and finally wreck an area or boss!
-
If it is your first playthrough, I would suggest playing as a knight. Use a shield and a Greatsword and make sure your weight doesn't go over 70%
-
If this your first dark souls game then yes, you should take your time with everything. Figure out the moves of your opponents never get too aggresive. If you stick with it the game will grow on you.
-
Yeah, I keep thinking it'll be fun soon. So far it's just been irritating.
