If you have a exotic heavy (super good advice, thunder lord, truth, dragons breathe) If you have any of these 4 in your blueprints There is a easy way to gain some exotic shards Purchase any one of these 4 exotics from the blueprints Yes, I know it does cost a exotic shards to do so Equip it Pop a heavy telem, (have class item on... Machine gun or rocket exp boost And it only cost 6 motes to fully max it out (Note you don't have to unlock the nodes) Dismantle, and you gain 2 exotic shards for the price of 1 Also, you gain 7 weapon parts and 3motes from dismantling So you gain half of your notes back and some weapon parts So, in turn, with max glimmer, (it costing 2500 glimmer) You can buy a exotic heavy 10 times(cost of 10 exotic shards) And gain 20 shards back. Which is a increase of 10 shards. You will spend 60 motes, but get 30 back. (So only costs 30) And you will gain 70 weapon parts Also equip any gear that needs some exp while your using motes to level it up. Like a exotic armor or something So, short version, max glimmer, 10 shards, 60 motes= 20 shards (30 motes back) and 70 weapon parts Good luck guardians Edit 1: I know this can be done with all weapons. But heavy exotics cost the least amount of motes to max the exp out to dismantle them That's why I say a heavy Edit 2: I guess it's not 7 weapon parts every time but at least 5.
