Hello there!
After the latest update I have not seen any mercy rule kicking in? Is that how it should be? I just lost a match on my titan 20.000+ against 7000+. I do not mind getting my ass kicked now and then but this match took a long time. No green bars, everyone yellow, some red bar. So a mercy would have been nice ;-) during this kind of score difference.
Kind regards!

If the team hits 15,000 points before that happens, mercy rule doesn't activate. That's what I do notice.

If you're getting steamrolled like that, chances are people were getting frustrated and leaving, am I right? And then maybe, others were joining mid-game to fill the empty places. Correct? That's why the bars were red and yellow. When players join mid game everyone's connection bars dip. They're not actually an indication of that player's connection to the game and there's lots of things that will change how they're displayed. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/204677860?sort=0&page=0

You have to get tripled for mercy to kick in. It was probably close, but not quite there.

2 RespuestasMy team won by a mercy rule Wednesday. Probably like everything else in bungie hit or miss.

5 RespuestasAgreed. Might as well get on to the next match. At that point it's just one side running around getting easy kills on the few members left on the other side. Then again, I guess that's the "relaxed match" a lot of people say they want.
