Anyone remember this quote (I'm paraphrasing here, I don't have the exact quote) from Deej? Do they not realize that we ARE using the same guns as we did in Y1? Hung Jury, Treads Upon Stars, you name it. Moderate impact/ROF scouts are all just reskins of Vision of Confluence. The only difference is the higher light level and crappier perks. If we're going to be using the exact same guns, only with different skins, why not just let us upgrade our Y1 guns? I will say this. Deej is probably right that it is not fun to use the same guns for 10 years, but that statement presumes that we will have different, BETTER guns in the future. So far, that hasn't happened. We have reskins with higher light value and [b]crappier[/b] perks. That is even LESS fun than using the same guns for 10 years. [Edit] And presuming that this is heard, we would also like to have some Ammo for those guns please and thank you. This is a shooter after all. [Edit 2] I think some here are missing the point. The point isn't that I want new archetypes of weapons, although that would most certainly be a welcome change. My point is we ARE using the same weapons we did in Y1 - just lesser versions due to the fact that Y2 perks are terrible and Y1 perks are watered down. Seeing as we are ALREADY using the same weapons we are from Y1 (just reskins) they might as well just let us keep using our Y1 weapons until something better comes along and we NATURALLY CHOOSE to give up old weapons in favor of new ones.
