Sounds like I tough call, I'd try to research the history of the EU and see what membership currently entitles. Like what regulations, laws, whatever must be followed by a member. And what benefits you get. For example, I believe being in the EU makes trade and crossing borders to other members easier.

Observing from America, I'd say GTFO. Unless you're a failing country, the E.U. does no good. Hell, even if you're a failing country the E.U. won't do you much good. Leave the suicide pact

Editado por meh: 5/27/2016 9:29:14 AMThe purpose of the EU was for trade. This is good. Everything else? Not so much. The EU passing legislation is undemocratic, as it takes away power from our voted for leaders, and gives it to a group of people who are not voted for. As an idea, I love the EU, because it makes me think of sci-fy's where civil wars are between planets ruled by one government, rather then between nations. However, we are not (currently) one nation, with similar ideals and laws. For example, the EU is putting pressure on the UK to privatise the NHS, which is against the interests of the majority of the UK. The problem with leaving is mostly a financial security one, i believe. There is a risk that all of the deals that will need renegotiating could be less beneficial to us then the current ones. I personally don't see this as a problem, as the current deals are good both ways, so why would the other countries try to screw that up for themselves? It is a risk though. I'm going to be voting to leave, but mostly because I am curious to see how it plays out, and think that is the most interesting outcome. FYI, the deal Cameron made was bollucks, and clearly showed they don't take us seriously. The best outcome is probably what Borris said he wanted, which is where we vote to leave, and use that to negotiate a deal to stay that actually suits us.

I don't care about the economics; both sides throw figures around like they're playing tennis and I don't believe a word of any of it. Nobody knows what will happen economically if we leave, so I'm not about to proclaim I do know. I have serious doubts about the democratic processes of the EU and our ability to control our borders. We didn't get any significant reforms to our relationship with the rest of the EU in recent negotiations, despite the best efforts of the PM and George Osbourne, and I fail to see how we can make a substantive contribution to reform of the EU whilst being one of a growing number of member states; if anything encouraging more member states - such as Turkey - will only dilute the power that we (and other member states) have already and make it harder for our voice to be heard. Yes the only way to reform the EU is to stay in it, but what does it say about the EU when it has come to this point despite our being in it and having a supposed voice? We tried negotiation. That didn't work. As much as I believe in an EU, I do not believe in this EU and I will be voting to leave.
