lol! Collecting everything? I'll speculate that 99% or more do not have everything, and won't get everything. There is not even enough space to keep it all if they do collect. Why RNG be a hindrance? Shouldn't it be the enabler Bungie intended it to be (a reason to play missions over and over with friends, without being fruitless)? That was their purpose of RNG. Personally I feel they've improved the RNG algorithm a little, but they still have a lot to learn, and frankly, I've grown tired of being on their beta team. I hope they release the finished game soon (without all of the changes to currencies, what changes, light on class armor, and on a ghost, after there wasn't, what to do with my vanguard marks, where do I trade my materials to get more marks (instead of the other way around).

Agreed but what I'm aiming at with my point was VOG has been redundant for ages I only got the chest piece bout 2 months ago and finally finished my hunter set, is it worthless for endgame yes but I still use my old gear for patrol and crucible for fun I only say rng is hindrance as in people are after there last piece (chest piece for instance) but keep getting gauntlets that's all I meant

Roger. I'm afraid to use my old gear, because when the taken corrupt an area, my 170 stuff doesn't really help against them... Nor am I able to destroy a VIP target as easily. I kept my raid stuff, hoping that Bungie will do what they did earlier with Etheric light for Year 1. There is absolutely nothing stopping them from allowing another (or same) currency to allow max light for Year 2, 3, all of Destiny, etc... Eventually importing gear from your account (outside of the game) into Destiny 2.
