I think that a small and simple change could be made to the No Land Beyond: remove the lens glare. It just makes sense, since it has iron sights.

Editado por Hondaenthu93: 5/27/2016 8:27:00 PMIt's still a potential 1 shot kill sniper rifle. It's only fair to have scope glare so you can make an informed decision on whether you want to challenge or not. It would really suck if you keep challenging people thinking they're using a primary and get dropped in 1 shot from across the map. I just figure scope glare is used to give you a fighting chance at making a smart decision. Other wise it would be so easy to camp, people would never be able to locate you and land enough shots before you put them down, and even just fleeing would be impossible because aside from the known sniper lanes, you wouldn't know till you've been hit then locate the sniper and decide which way to flee. If they removed scope glare from NLB, it wouldn't be a fun game. Especially since people already say there's too much camping and hardscoping. Something that can kill you from that far away that quick needs to have some kind of visual cue for the opponent. Even fusion rifles have a visual cue. If shot guns could some how kill from pretty long distances I would be willing to bet they'd have some sort of visual cue. It's not whether it physically makes sense (would the other snipers really give off an intense red light from scope "glare"), it's just to give information to the opponents to tip the scales a little in their direction even though the sniper still has a distinct advantage.

11 RespuestasIts a perfect gun. No changes need to made. It is good in a skilled hand. I remember using it loads in year 1 before they "fixed" the sights. Either way respect to all my NLB mains!!
-
It would be op. I think body damage should be lowered and precision raised to 1000 yard levels. The master perk should increase weapon handling and reload(including bolt action)

Editado por B0ngSaburr_Batul: 5/26/2016 11:04:28 PMThe gun is alright where it is. Feels a bit off since the sniper nerf though, like something isnt the same. I think a cool thing to do would be to replace "the master" with firefly so heads pop lol
-
2 RespuestasNo. The weapon imo is training wheels for sniping. You want to get better at sniping then use this. The glare gives off that sniper aura. If you take the glare away it would be broken, it may make since design wise not a good idea gameplay wise.

Editado por Ceri: 5/26/2016 4:13:30 PMGive a different tint of red, maybe tone down how obvious it is your heads coming off in the next few milliseconds.
-
Might as well with the qbb, it's a fusion rifle It has to have the red to let you know you're about to have your head taken off

14 RespuestasCouldn't imagine the levels of salt that would create!
-
I agree. It would make the weapon much more of a threat and it would pay homage to it's lore. It's meant to be a master sniper's weapon, so it not having a lens glare would add to the deception of where you're shooting from.

39 RespuestasThe only change I would like for the nlb is to put it in the secondary slot where it should be.

Remove Mulligan and scope glare Mulligan always messes up my reload cancel
-
That would be kinda unbalanced because youd have no idea it was there to get an insta headshot on you.
-
Remove the swap delay first. Or mulligan. Then maybe the sights.

1 Respuesta
I think that a small and simple change could be made to the No Land Beyond: increase base ammo capacity. 11 rounds won't get you through 3 minutes of the match.
Fixed it.

I enjoy the gun for what it is, and normally it's my main weapon of use in pvp. However for pve it needs more ammo and better damage, or at least toss a element on it (would it really be that op bungie, if any primary where to have a element it should be this one.) For pvp mastery is almost useless, though it can have applications with weapons of light. It's whatever though. Mulligan needs to be removed, I would infact rather not even have a perk then have mulligan on this gun. My reasoning for this is if it proxies on the first shot it can actually screw you over (as you cannot cancel the animation now lol) any other perk would actually be better. The lens flare is actually useful for tricking people. Very often someone will try and rush you because of it, and because of that you can put them in shotgun distance. This is of course also a weakness to the gun but you can use it as a strength as well

You're forgetting about your helmet lens glare.
-
The people who are good with it rock. I'm still trying. It's fine. Already challenging enough to use.
-
It's fine

1 RespuestaGive it Wolfpack Rounds.

It doesn't need touching, leave it alone.

And no.
