I just got banned from a group, and I'm gonna rant about it.
So I was just minding my own business, you know, checking my notifications, when I see I was banned from one of the groups I was in. Curious, I PMed the leader and the admin who banned me asking what was up.
The leader essentially said he didn't give a shit, telling me there was no room for debate and that my ban was final, basically admitting that even if an admin was blatantly wrong about a ban he wouldn't care. The admin who banned me said he actually meant to kick me (Another example of their sheer ineptitude) and that the reason for the ban was, are you ready? Slight offhand mentions of the KKK. The reason this was so awful was because some people might be offended.
[b]By what?[/b] Offended by the fact that a hate group exists? They are literally catering to people who get offended by the fact that things exist to the degree that they're willing to ban for them. He also said I was moaning about my KKK mentions being deleted, which I did do, albeit with thick layers of sarcasm, jokingly calling it "left-wing censorship". I pointed this out to the admin who banned me, and he actually did lift my ban with a warning to avoid making comments like that. But guess what? The group leader then banned me not even a minute later!
I won't say the name of the group, because that's honestly taking it too far, but I will say the entire group is a massive joke. Well done you massive pricks.
