In pve it feels like the only viable option is a scout rifle. Scout rifles are incredibly well balanced so you just need to Bring the rest up

And then there are special weapons... yeah.

2 RespuestasIt's less about the gun type and more about the gun perks. My go to in PVE is. Her Memory AR with Army of One, hand laid stick and crowd control. It is the best trash mob killing gun I've ever had. But it sucks in PVP. Now for PVP I was lucky to get a God Roll Grim Citizen with the most range you could possibly get in the game. (It out ranges pulse rifles) That gun is all handling stats but no perks. I also have a stable of scouts, several with both types of God Rolls. It's all about how you maximize the guns perks for every situation.

2 RespuestasI find ace of spades very useful
-
2 RespuestasAll guns are useful, just not some perks...

3 RespuestasI just managed to obtain a scout rifle for my huntard, with full auto. can't wait to try out the performance today :)
-
Hand cannons or scouts Religiously!! Must have explosive rounds
-
1 RespuestaI used to agree 100%, but for the last couple months I have been mixing it up with AR's and scouts. Current go-to for AR's: Paleocontact JPK-43 for legendary Suros Regime for exotic Current go-to for scout's: Not like the others and Badger CCL for legendaries Mida and Jade rabbit for exotic The paleocontact is really versatile in PVE with third eye. The Badger hits hard but the perks on mine aren't great. My year 1 badger was better. My not like the others has third eye and explosive rounds, which is always fun. Seriously look into the paleocontact for an AR. You might be surprised by it.

9 RespuestasARs do well. HCs do well. Only down side is ammo PRs do well. Litreraly, you can use any weapon and do well in PVE if you light is at the req.
-
2 RespuestasEven in yr 1 hand cannons and scouts dominated pve. Ever saw someone using the VoG pulse rifle in pve? No but fatebringer and VoC are legendary in pvr
-
I always use nirwens mercy during the raid and poe
-
I have always used scouts in PvE since the beta. I love scouts.
-
2 RespuestasI use whatever I want lol. Most of time I use down and doubt

3 RespuestasEditado por BernHold77: 5/24/2016 9:47:48 PMI actually Run with hand canons a lot! And get a decent amount of kills. Eyesluna is a great PVE gun if you have good rolls. lord High fixer with steady hand is a beast. I even use Suros regime quite a bit. This is the most balanced I've seen PVE. I'm not saying it's perfect but it's way better. I used to run Mida a lot, not as much anymore. Additionally I choose weapons based on maps and sight lines. You just can decide to run one gun on all maps they shine at different distances. By what you describe you may hang back a bit to long range. In some maps I run hand cannons, and shotguns. It depends on what others are using too. Try changing up your load outs, and getting used to gun specifics.

1 RespuestaI strictly use nlb and do fine, my friend uses whatever he just got. I will say though, on ps4 almost all my games I only see super, gernade, melee, sniper and shotgun kills most of the time. Yes other guns kill but I am talking about half the kills being the above. This of course could just be my unlucky nature of having the most annoying games (my like my spawns, I have spawned several times in front of a fist of havoc titan as he is decending on my teamate lol. One spawn had me fall off the edge of the map to my death (my teamate spawned with me close to the edge causing me to fall upon the moment when I would be able to move.))

1 RespuestaEditado por Gambit: 5/25/2016 4:02:35 PMMy Righteous VII would like to have a word with you about that assumption dear sir. LOL You are right though with respect that "Scout rifles are incredibly well balanced". the have been my main weapon since I started playing. I have recently started playing with certain Autos and Pulse rifles. Here is a list of other weapons I find that are viable: Righteous VII Haakon's Hatchet Doctrine of Passing Bad JuJu No Time to Explain Suros Regime Suros PDX-41 and 45 ZHALO Supercell Nerwin's Mercy Red Death Grasp of Malok The First Curse Hawkmoon Ace of Spades Finnala's Peril Hawksaw These ar just a few that I have actually been able to play with. There are probably others that I do not have at the moment. I have been able to use all of these weapons very effectivly in PvE. The point I'm trying to make is don't limit yourself guardian. You maybe missing out on a really fun weapon to use. At the end of the day that is what it's all about anyway.....fun. Good luck guardian, may RNG be good to you.

5 RespuestasI use hand cannons ALL THE TIME.
-
I mostly use Nerwins. I prefer pulse rifles.
Ok nobody cares
Scouts and Pulses are in a good place the other need to be brought up to there Lv of performance.

6 RespuestasEditado por Der Sheff: 5/24/2016 10:36:38 PMI find that anything with feeding frenzy or outlaw is good. My personal favorite is Bad Juju, since I never have to reload. Every weapon is extremely good right now except hand cannons. Hand cannons need a 5-10% DPS buff in PvE.
-
1 RespuestaIf we only bring legendaries to the table, I'll agree... AR just suck in general for PvE, using an entire mag for just one kill? Naah. Pulse Rifles in general have no reason to be used in PvE. Probably only the raid one is decent for PvE. Hand Cannons are still viable, but you need to have a good roll on yours, but usually their are only good to kill foes at close. Now, Scout Rifles are another thing: they have a nice amount of ammo, good range for close and far encounters. I have a "Treads Upon Stars" with Firefly and Life Support and that gun rocks for PvE :D.

2 RespuestasSmite of Merain with fire fly. The best pve imo
-
What?? I use all types of weapons in pve. Hand canons are excellent if you are accurate, pulses still wreak and autos have their moments too.
-
1 RespuestaThe raid pulse with firefly I recently started using the hand cannon just to switch things up
-
I've almost always preferred scouts in Both pvp and pve. Except for when I beat the va ills. A pain for the first time at which point I was using my handcannon a fair amount.
-
scout and pulse rifles are really the only options
