Sepiks is dead as dicks. His mangled husk is even visible in that story mission where you go up the colony ship. There's no way Bungie is bringing him back, unfortunately. I miss him too

No heroic strikes aren't really canon. Otherwise we wouldn't be fighting dark blade or the shield bros again, would we?
-
I thought that's why they hadn't brought back the other strikes like Omnigul but then they did and well she's definitely dead, so apparently Bungie don't care.
-
Omnigul is in the current heroic rotation.
-
Tolkien managed to do it with Gandalf and we know bungie is a MUCH better story writer than him.

Uh, are you seriously using the argument that "X character is dead, so we can't bring him back?" How many times have I killed Oryx? How many times have I killed the Archon Priest? How many times have I killed every enemy is this game? That isn't even an excuse. The fact that Bungie is purposely leaving content in the game behind is rather sad. People that say, "oh, we need to leave things in the past and move forward." You're wrong about this. I'm fine with leaving things behind when Destiny 2 is released, but the fact that there is content in this game that is completely irrelevant is appalling. Everything is the game should be relevant up till the point of the next games release. That's just common knowledge.

There is a mission where on Mars where the Fallen rebuild a Prime. They could redo the same for Sepiks...just add taken in the mix, and throw in a "looks like the Taken are fighting the Fallen" line here and there, and there you have it. Look at the Y1 Mars Strike....it was brought forward and there is no voice dialog to connect it lol. The Taken are randomly just...there.
-
They don't even need to add Taken (I'd prefer if they didn't). All they have to do is raise the light level. How hard is that to do?
-
They also have to put at least 1 Strike specific loot in for each Strike they bring back.
-
How about a Sepiks style ghost shell?

I was explaining Bungie's logic. Calm down. The fact that they put Sepik's body there is their way of saying, canonically, he's dead. Yes I want that strike back too, but I doubt Bungie will comply. I agree wholeheartedly that everything in this game should be relevant, and separating things into "Year 1" and "Year 2" is detrimental to the experience

Omnigul? Valus? Archon? Killing raid bosses repeatedly? It doesn't need to be canon. None of the other strikes are

Bruh. Heroic strikes aren't canon! They're just replay ability for gamers! End game, fun! Not story.

Editado por Simply Judas: 5/24/2016 12:11:41 PMI think they just messed up. They truly thought the taken King would be enough for everyone (clearly not) While I'd love the old stuff back, it's not gonna happen. They left out everything that didn't have a future in destiny. Sepiks is dead and the fallen are in shambles, sepiks will play no part in the future of the game. Same with winters run, they only brought it back to shut us up. Plus aren't we all sick of the taken? Valus Ta'blahblah is still playable because the cabal are about to be super relevant in the near future, and when they get here I'm sure he'll be mentioned alpine with all the other high ranking cabal we've killed. However, VoG should be forever relevant. It's a big jumbled mess of timelines and theories. The ability to go back and kill him repeatedly is written into the lore. The vault creates atheon and atheon creates the vault endlessly. It could always make sense to run that raid. Just my thoughts on it.
-
Just keep Cabal strikes in so I can continue my quest for perfect Treads rolls.

Editado por LxGhostSniperxL: 5/24/2016 11:58:04 AMSorry, I do sound a little ranty. It's just that Bungie doesn't appear to have logic when I comes to running this game.

TAKEN SEPIKS

Not possible, he's not an organic life-form.

Not with that attitude.
