Leave striker alone!
Why is every on this forum all of a sudden turning there hungry maw, like a ravenous dog, against my bro striker titan? Is it because I manager to kill so many in crucible the lost few days. Maybe cause melee hit detection got fixed, so shoulder charge hits more often. I want to here your reasons as to why the crucibabies have come out in force to nerf this balanced class.

7 RespuestasShoulder charge is problematic for a number of reasons. Firstly in the right hands a player can shoulder charge slide, or shoulder charge drop from the sky or shoulder charge fly in a box pattern drop, slide jump kill. The name of the ability is shoulder charge one should be able to extrapolate from this that the ability is linked to the shoulder of the character. Presently it is not linked. Shoulder charge should be the effect of a charging rhino, straight line sprint. 1. Extend the duration of the pre-charge so that the Striker can sprint with a prepped shoulder charge much longer. 2. End the charge is the striker jumps or slides. Part of the reason that shoulder charge has evolved into it's current use is the short time of charge. This meant that many players were using shoulder charge as means of travel instead of an attack. If the enhanced movement was disabled from shoulder charge it would really limit it's effectiveness however if a striker had shoulder charge for the majority of their sprint it would be more effective ideally the right combination of nerf and buff would make the shoulder charge still an effective weapon without being it's current state of, well kind of stupid. Which brings me to another point Unstoppable on striker is not as effective as it once was. I was running a striker with max armor, arc armor boost chest piece, full health in the fist of havoc animation and was one-shotted by a shotgun ending the fist of havoc. I get it if in this situation the the striker is almost dead or even dies right after the animation by one-shot auto-stop seems counter to the point of unstoppable making shoulder charge not just a more effective tool but for many the only real option on column.

3 RespuestasThough I despise Strikers because of the ridiculous Lightning nade range (much like the Tripmine), and skating/panic slamming, I aim most of my salt at the Garrison. Ive seen it on nearly every single Titan ive played against since Xur sold it, so somethings up.

2 RespuestasIt's cheap, reliable, and will never be broken. That's why. They're going after everything now apparently. They've been crying about Sunsinger, now Stormcaller, already got Hammer nerfed, and apparently are back at FoH. They've gotten Autos, shotguns, handcannons, Pulses, and Lmgs nerfed.... multiple classes also. They're never sayisfied until they get a 1.0 KD.

19 RespuestasOnly thing is there is no cooldown to shoulder charge and Titan skating allows your Titan to have a Max Agility/Discipline/Strength build.

It only seems broken because of the shotgun nerf. However shotguns or blinking over the titan still works wonders. I just let titans overuse it, yes it kills me at times but when they begin to overuse it they end up leaving themselves wide open.

Because you basically have 2 one punch melees and you're the fastest class with bullshit lighting nades which have a cone radius of a nuclear bomb. Shoulder charge is incredibly broken. Never could you before shoulder charge up and down and all stupid bullshit angles like you can now.

5 RespuestasThe striker subclass is one of the few if the only class that is true balanced it's supposed to be good at close range combat and that shows through shoulder charge,storm fists damage and fist of havocs speed and radius. The Lightning grenades are passive aggressive and it's impossible to get a one hit kill. People want to nerf anything that kills them more than once anyways. Bungie finally curbed the warlocks slightly by reducing their solar shield which was necessary. Hopefully they do somethings about the wombo combo shade stepping hunters.

That being said no one can constructively think of ways to help their own subclass to make it better. Thus creating more diversity and other perks being used. Im so sick of seeing nerf this and nerf that with a biased a opion catered towards a class they hate or one that gives them a challenge. With that your your just reaping what you sow so theres always this constant cycle of other classes targeting one another. It's shear stupidity an im sick of it. Couple scenarios if i might add. You'll have a pve player complaing about nerfs effecting pve while they're the same ones asking for nerfs to begin with the moment they step into a game of pvp. How about the uproar of people crying about shadestep being used back to back. Last time I checked Titans can evade 3 times in a row. Or lets look how Viking funeral combo is supposedly op while the wombo combo runs rampant or how skip grenades are capable of taking down someone to no health let alone being able to kill them without attached perks. Try this one on. stormcaller supposedly has high armor for a romaing super when last time I checked arc blade has just as much armor and can generate health as well. Theres much more detail and other scearios to bring up. But you have to see it from an unbiased opinion and know how it could comeptley ruin a playstyle. An I feel nothing needs a nerf. Seems titans are the short end of the stick that being said I think they need to buff them here and there. Essepcialy with melee range. But hoepfully people can get a better insight of how bullshit their nerf calls are.

1 RespuestaYes, i agree, it is the only "good" subclass for both PvE and PvP. Sunbreaker is bad PvP but alright PvE. Bubble is good in both (depending on play style). But striker is the best subclass the Titans have, hunters and warlocks need to stop saying stuff about other classes, same goes to Titans. People should just go on instead of cry. One exception is if it was trial my 100% OP than maybe but 99% NO!

1 RespuestaHonestly I think everything needs to be returned to house of wolves . Right now I think all the supers are underpowered. And it's really kindve sad. And then outside of lightning grenade, the only decent grenades are the ones that stick for a OHK. Even firebolt is a bit weak if you don't get your throw right. Everything needs a buff.
