As a PvE player, I'm glad Trials was cancelled ...

Plain and simple. I've watched this game spin out of control for almost two freaking years now due to nerfs and terrible adjustments brought on by PvP complainers. As a PvE player, I'm rather glad to see all the crybabies lose their precious Trials for a bit. It's all your fault anyway. You know you would have gone into Trials with endless rockets and cheated your way to the lighthouse. For the record; I do miss IB. I do always play IB. Edit: thanks for the feedback, all (the good and the bad). I'd like to make something clear as I feel it may be misunderstood. I don't wish for ToO to be removed from Destiny. It's a popular game mode and I realize many people play it. I'm just stating that I hope (for once) PvP players see what it's like to have something to which they've grown accustomed removed. It'll be back (without a doubt). However, our super abilities; our ammo reserves; our precious favorite weapons ... Will NEVER be the same. Remember that. 2nd Edit: I never thought this thread would take off like it has. I thank each and every one of you for your comments. My final thought is this: I would love to see Destiny's PvE and PvP be able to be played seamlessly. I have absolutely no qualms about there being a PvP. I myself greatly enjoy IB (and anything Mayhem related). Someone posted below that we are all guardians here, and they are absolutely correct. We're all here playing this game TOGETHER. I would play Destiny with each and every one of you given the opportunity to do so. With all of its flaws, downsides, nerfs ... Whatever; I still love Destiny. I've never enjoyed playing a game the way I do this one. It's revolutionary. I know it can be great. I know it can be what it was meant to be. It's never to late for anything. My only hope is that Bungie opens their eyes and ears and starts taking REAL action to improving this would be amazing shooter.

  • You think Bungie wouldn't have nerfed things in PvE if they were outstanding? Gjallarhorn? Black Hammer? It wasn't even "PvP players" who called for all this shit. It's the PvE'ers who come into PvP, get destroyed, then get butthurt when they can't kill anyone because 'their weapon must be too powerful'. I nearly killed a Stormcaller with a SIDEARM after being blinded by Landfall, if I didn't have to reload, I'd have killed them. (GOOD) PvP players don't constantly whine on about things being overpowered. Lol, look at TLW now, "we noticed players were getting good with the hip fire bonus, we don't like this, so we're nerfing it again". It's laughable, I hate these stupidly long kill times and peashooter weapons, it's pathetic. We will debate, and we will say if something is way out of line (notice the only things we wanted changed about the Sunbreaker was to be able to one-shot them, but it was BUNGIE who went overboard), yes, but we're not the ones throwing out threads every day saying "Doctrine is OP" or "MIDA is OP" or "Qullim's is OP". For the love of f**k don't group us with those assholes.
