It completely ruins the PVP that used to be so fun.
Stop lying to your fans and remove SBMM

Yes. Yes it is.

Editado por Newbold1: 5/26/2016 4:20:27 PMThe people thinking that that everyone wanting rid of SBMM for CBMM immediately assume they just wanna stomp people is so far from the truth. I just want a game with people that aren't teleporting through walls. And you'll be getting people of high skill on both teams as well as people with lower skill. It's not like all the good players are matched on one team and the other team has people who don't play PVP. Bungie strive for a 50% W/L ratio on games because that is a good indicator that the teams being matched up are fair. I'm pretty sure that in Year 1 it was close to a 50% ratio and connections were smooth as anything. Yes I understand the player base is not as big as it once was but SBMM only makes lag worse when people just want a stable match. I'm average at PVP and I'd rather get stomped by people who I can damage and get the odd kill than someone on my skills level taking no damage and running into a wall face first before shotgun meleeing me instantly.

4 RespuestasTrump is a joke
-
2 Respuestasdude it only matches people 1.5kd an higher. ... so it's clear you have not been experiencing it
-
No matter what they implement. It will never be 100% flawless! U do understand that with less players available online the higher the chance of getting paired with people that have a shitty connection. Issues are bound to happen that way no matter the math behind the matchmaking. Its a two way street not just comming from Bungietown.

To have sbmm you have to have good network frame. Destiny does peer to peer and matches you with folks across the globe.
-
People have been crying about lag since day 1. It's not a new or recent development. The only thing new are the people complaining since everyone else quit long ago
-
17 Respuestasall i read is that now you know it was your lag that made you "good".

7 RespuestasReal fun having 5 minute search times. I can only swipe on Tinder for so much before it gets boring.
-
I'm having a lot of fun in PVP as a solo player, barely any lag at all!
-
2 RespuestasReverse boosting works... just an fyi...
-
I can't ever play a casual Control match haha. Every other game I match the #1 control guy and other pubstomp teams. I find that solo queuing always results in matching a 4-6 man, while when I'm in a fireteam myself, we almost never match more than a 3 team.
-
7 RespuestasI'm always playing against the top 6% lol full of sweaty games but my teammates play like they belong in the bottom 10%..

1 RespuestaUninstalled this piece of shit game again. Stupid -blam!-ing lag red and yellow bars on both teams. I dont even care if I win or go positive. Im not playing with this piss poor connection BS. Up ur stinking arse with SBMM bungie!

5 RespuestasIt's always the pubstompers with this opinion, isn't it :p

1 RespuestaPvp is unplayable. This game is dead

5 RespuestasSbmm is a cancer to this game
-
3 RespuestasSBMM is great and I hope it stays! SBMM for life <3
-
4 RespuestasWhat did they lie about, except for when they changed how skill is evaluated? SBMM itself has always been in Destiny, and Bungie confirmed that.

53 RespuestasLet's break this down Sbmm forces people to play others around their own skill level Granted this is relative due to fireteams/match making algorithm having a time cut off What people dont understand is that our current system also utilizes cbmm Break that down even further, it will find people in your skill bracket, then from that que, select guardians with similar latency. *But why do I get red bars ? Destiny is p2p- sbmm/cbmm doesn't change that in anyway shape or form. With p2p you're relying on other peoples internet connection in addition to your own. So if the host has a crap internet connection, then the lobby will. Random red bars mid Match- is p2p changing ( or atleast trying to) hosts. *Why do higher tier players want sbmm removed? Well a fair number of them just want easy matches and use lag as an excuse to get rid of sbmm. Also, being in a higher skill bracket greatly limits the amount of players the system will attempt to match you with. however that's when the cbmm part of the equation kicks in and tries to find the best latency partners in that bracket. Overall destiny needs dedicated servers for sbmm work the most effectively- but it works just fine the way it is. Limiting red bars can be done by joining or creating a fire team that is geographically closer to one another to increase the chance of getting a good host connection.

2 RespuestasI hope that in destiny 2 they learn from their mistakes

It's fine for me but Idgaf

1 RespuestaIt is, and the majority would agree. I wanted to do some doubles today, solo, and try some new things. I couldn't go into a single game that didn't have decent players using decent weapons, and I was getting rolled every fkn time. SBMM is absolute -blam!-ing aids. If you want competitive gaming, make a ranked option for that. For the rest of the time when we want to chill, leave it. There's no point in being good and improving your play, if you never reap the benefits.

Crucible continues to get better in my opinion. Smart balancing of SBMM and CBMM is where theis game needs to go.
