  • Exactly my point though. They have created a huge immature fan base by treating them like crap. They have called us names, on live streams, and no professional company should ever do such a thing. It's very unethical. Their poor communication skills have created a community of enraged children blinded with the fury and Rath of injustice. And the community therefore has resorted to any means necessary to be heard. And they aren't being heard, so they decided to say f it and go crazy. That happens when the person in charge doesn't lead. The people go crazy.

    Oh no no no no. They didn't create an immature fan base one bit. We don't get made by them. We don't act the way we do because some company pulls our arms. The immature people in this community are accountable for their immaturity themselves, not somebody else. You're making up excuses to shift the blame there bud.

  • So a company treats their workers like crap and doesn't provide them with proper pay. They then start to protest the company. It's the workers fault for being immature and they need to suck it up. By your logic that's what you're saying. I agree that people using the language they do isn't the right thing to do but how a person is treated completely shapes how they act. If you treat someone like dirt their entire life they're going to have some issues with self confidence. This obviously isn't of the same severity but it's the same idea. To deny people are shaped by their experiences is crazy. That doesn't excuse the name calling that is immaturity but being angry at bungie is a relatively acceptable feeling all things considered. I have never seen a company treat its customers so poorly. If I or a coworker did what bungie does to our customers we would be promptly fired. They are just very unprofessional.

    What? No that's not the logic I'm saying even in the slightest. You're way off. WE are not workers, for one. Bungie has not treated us like crap. I know a couple times people have assumed and misinterpreted things that really weren't malicious or put-downs at all. But Bungie didn't make anybody into whiners or cause them to go around insulting each other over it. I also know some people either a) have thin skin and get bent out of shape even when they're treated respectfully and professionally, and b) there's some who just want excuses to try and tear down Bungie/Activision for ignorant reasons or blind hatred. You realize a lot of the fanbase are [i]in fact immature teenagers[/i] that are immature and disrespectful to start with, right? It's not like we all came here as wide-eyed, innocent kids or fully mature, respecting adults and became immature solely because of Bungie. Get real man. I'm not saying Bungie doesn't have an effect at all, I'm saying don't act like immaturity on this forum is ALL, or even mostly Bungie's fault, because it's not.   • Being upset at a company for screwing you isn't immature. I spent almost $200 on this game so it's reasonable for me to want a good product. Again using bad language and calling names is immature but being upset is not. And you shouldn't have the holier than thou attitude. I'm sure you have lapses of immaturity as anyone else does (me included). Maybe not about a video games but other things.

  • Of course it's first world problems. I have a damn Xbox and wifi to be able to play a game. And the money to buy all of it. Bungie does treat the community like crap. Obviously there is terrible stuff going on in the world which this doesn't even compare to. Just because there is other shittier stuff going on doesn't mean I can't be upset about how a company who I pay treats me. So if you believe what you just said you should never complain about anything in your life which I'm sure is bull shit. Everyone has something they complain about that others would think is silly. Ya video games aren't that important but I enjoy them as much as anything not related to being with family. It's like if you have a really shitty coach in any sport. They may ruin the entire sport for you because of their dickery. I have seen that happen quit often actually. So yes video games aren't that important in the long run and bungie isn't some god like entity but people are really passionate about video games and will complain about it when a video game company is doing something wrong. As I said I'm sure you complain about things that I would see as a stupid thing to complain about but I'm not going to call you out on it because people care about different things.

  • OK Mr holier than thou. In no way shape or form am I acting like a child. It's a very common thing to demand compensation for poor treatment in the business world, it's what CEO's do to keep business when something goes down they didn't want to happen. And I don't see how I'm biased either. The community hasn't been treated fairly.
