Cheat 1.act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination. This is what the main use of the word is. Yes it has other uses but, ignoring this one to fit your agenda is a little twisted. Using an exploit of unintended and unfair game mechanics to gain an advantage over another player is cheating. Twisting words doesn't change that.

Don't know where you got that definition but I can assure you its false. Cheating is breaking the rules and manipulating data. Saying treating someone unfairly is cheating is like saying I'm cheating by spawn sniping a guy 10 times in a row treating him unfairly.

Of course they would disagree. They don't listen to logic, they listen to "Burn the witch!! She has better clothes than I do!!" Kind of talk. Exploit and cheats are 2 different things completely. I guarantee you even bungie would admit that its not cheating. Simply taking advantage of an error that they made. No one should be punished for that.

Never implied you did, but many demand it. And its not cheating. I've seen many people here say its cheating because 1. It hurts people. False. There is not one thing in life that won't hurt you. 2. Its unfair to people. False. I think you'll find that nothing in life is fair. 3. (The one I detest the most) they are taking advantage of an exploit. They are cheating. ..that is also false. As cheating and exploitation are 2 different meanings. Just because you and other people do not like this exploit does not mean its cheating. Now I want this error fixed more than anyone, don't get me wrong on that. But what people are doing is not cheating. Simple as that.
