So theres a lot of talk about the leaked dlc, rise of iron. Some people believe it, some dont. Personally, i believe it. Its so heavily detailed, that unless the person is some insanely experienced artist, its prolly legit. Anyway, i see a lot of potential for this. Heres my initial idea. The fallen have been plotting, researching. Thinking of a new way to strike. Variks has been helping, researching guardians themselves and not experimenting with them by outfitting them with taken armor. These guardians become taken, and the house of devils recruit them. They use these guardians to lead a charge on twilight gap, breaking through the wall. The vanguard is too reluctant to shoot their own kind, giving the fallen time to strike while the vanguard figures out what to do. Saladin, as he was involved in the battle of twilight gap, returns to do what he once did. Push back the enemy and defend the city. He sees that weve had plenty of practice in the iron banner, and thus we have the power to create a new group of iron lords. The iron lords will possibly introduce a new subclass, and one of the upgrade nodes will involve having a wolf companion. Either that, or becoming an iron lord will be an optional thing that you can switch on and off, and maybe the wolves help in the raid. The raid would involve fighting through twilight gap. Starting in the city, and pushing until all the enemies are outside the wall and we rebuild the breach. New strikes could involve fighting new fallen commanders, lots of new fallen/iron banner themed gear, new exotics. If taken guardians are a thing, i wanna see a pvp mode of regular guardians vs taken guardians. Also, since my idea involves variks helping, the raids final boss will be variks and randal the vandal. Dismantle mines, yes? Anyway, this dlc could be fake and i just wasted a ton of time thinking of awesome ideas, but im really hoping for the best TL;DR- Fallen create army of taken guardians, attack twilight gap, we become iron lords and push them back in the raid. EDIT: YES I KNOW guardians cant be taken. I shouldve been more specific on that. Im thinking more of guardians turn mad because of the armor, and attack other guardians EDIT: I love hearing all these theories, theyre all amazing. So far i think the most plausible is a past/present thing, where we experience the original battle at twilight gap while fighting a similar threat in the present. Also, we need that servitor ghost shell or else this dlc will be worthless
