Doctrine of Passing....NEEDS AN ACTUAL NERF
This gun wasn't really nerfed at all in the April update, and it's come to the point where players with no skill, can easily dominate the crucible using this weapon. Especially when it is matched up with the right perks, Persistence and Counter-Balance. Please Bungie, fix this.

Stop feeding the cycle just because your favorite weapon got nerfed( TLW ). Asking for something to be nerfed because of nerfs is getting pathetic.

Reduce its accuracy at range and maybe reduce stability.

You should see my Soulstealers Claw on my Titan. I like it way more than my DoP and it has twice the range

It is one of the decent guns keeping shotguns somewhat in check. Nerfing it would lead to a rise in shotguns IMO ... And TLW usage which would lead to another nerf to it ... And the cycle goes on and on ... Don't stop the wheel! Break the wheel!!!!!

Surprise surprise the hunter main is calling for a nerf on a gun he can't get. Auto rifles FINALLY have a point in this game and now everyone who can't get DoP is calling for it to be nerfed. Maybe get two people and go play trials and get one for yourself? Don't even have to win to get one. Just go for the gold bounties. That's how I got one of mine.

Asking for a nerf can't fix a gun. It only ruins them. I think what Bungie has realized is that slightly reducing a gun's time to kill while increasing the TTK on another archetype does two positive things: it saves the nerfed gun from demise and it gives players another gun to use to CHALLENGE the dominant archetype. So think about it. What archetype could be buffed right now to challenge the doctrine of passing? How about the slightly slower ROF autos? The Hakkons Hatchet, ARI-41, Righteous VII, Zhalo Supercell, etc. There are a ton of good guns in this ROF class. Great rolls with tons of stability and range that WAY outclasses the Doctrine class of autos. Ask Bungie to buff this class. Add a bit more damage to the bullets. That's the key man. Not ruining the doctrine.

Why not ask for the previous weapon nerfs to be undone? Or the perk system to be corrected so that some aren't horrible with others comparatively amazing?
