1 RespuestaEditado por Calaway049: 5/20/2016 5:48:35 AMThis was mainly in year one, but any time a particularly easy nightfall comes along, I'll solo it until the boss is at ≈5% health, then invite a couple of low light guardians off lfg and kill him once they've joined. Not only are the reactions great, but sometimes you get the added bonus of good rewards (for them)

This was back in CE raids. Using the LFG system we used to run carries for new people “LF1M CE(HM) – No experience required.” And by ‘we’, I mean ‘I’. This ad gained a lot of interest as fresh undergeared players like usual want quick runs with minimal prior effort. So what I do, is invite the first 5 people to respond, we get into party chat. Oh and each person is under the impression that everyone else except for themselves are the Sherpas. I then invite the 6th person to respond, so 7 people in party and tell him to join the session as I leave the fireteam. So usually everyone is none the wiser and just assume the 7th person in party chat is a random friend. It really is a wonderful experience to listen to 6 noobs try to kick off a raid thinking they’re all being carried. Sometimes it just gets so awkward to listen to, that I just leave party chat and shake it out. But at the end of the day, it’s a service to them because they’ve been put in the position to learn and adapt as a team to confront challenges.

I'd say when you're in the tower with the flaming blue head, you start getting flooded with invites from teams who literally cannot pass a burn orientated strike. So you carry and teach them that there is ways to do strikes without getting wasted.

2 RespuestasEditado por ATinyPsyduck: 5/20/2016 6:11:31 AM• Helped new guardians through raids • Literally done the material farming for the exotic swords for my boyfriend and friend • Been a bullet monkey for friends for exotic weapon quests • Ran COE no less than 20 times, the first day of the April update, to help people complete their cards • Helped friends power-level new characters • Ran Nightfalls with people, even though I had done all of mine • Play distraction/medic in elimination/skirmish/Trials • Sacrifice myself in PvP for the greater good of my team • Friendly neighborhood booster-popper... Hell, I even left a raid once, to help my boyfriend kill an enemy that he wasn't a high enough level to defeat himself. Edit: A lot of these are loving jabs at my usual fireteam. They like to get big heads. 😊

Helped a team of 5 friends who had all just bought the game through part of Kings fall. They were all 285-295 range, and had no clue. It took a while even beat totems and warpriest, but it was fun.

I play crucible. Helping other Guardians' k/d ratios, one match at a time. You are welcome. :-) (I play both xb360 and Xbone, so you have even better odds! )

5 RespuestasEditado por OverHere: 5/20/2016 4:21:31 AMI've helped 9 guardians and counting get their flawless raider trophy. I sherpa first timers through normal King's Fall. So far I've brought 5 groups through. I consistently help people get their exotic swords, chaperones, first curse and shaxx bounties quest via letting them kill my titan in classic rumble. I've helped a handful of people to get their black spindle (still no ship for me). I've purchased the game for a friend in real life. I try to help out anyone I can with solid and informed answers via ps messaging, and by helping them complete what they need to provided I've got the time to do it.

1 RespuestaIn a strike darkness zone, one of my fireteam members died in a kill-zone, so that if you revive them, they will instantly die. I helped them increase their Death count in PvE. >:3

1 RespuestaI always take time out of my busy patrolling schedule to introduce, sub level 10 players to the 3 yellow bar knights in the steppes(cosmodrome). I even revive them several times as they try to escape.

I let a noob kill me once in year one pvp. I just stood there after outplaying him so bad he didn't even know where I was but then I thought I would let him get the kill because I was dominating him all match. Then after he killed me he tbagged. never again

A couple of days a go a friend an I were doing 41 PoE with a match made random. He messaged after and asked if we would help on nightfall (307 light). We did two nightfalls and took him through Crota too (long live fatebringer and gally)... Gonna help him smash oryx too as he's a decent player and listens
