I plan on getting it, what are your thoughts for those who have it?
Edit: Liking the campaign so far. Cant find a single multiplayer match however.

Just published my first snap map. Quick, trying, and you can pick up at least 1 challenge reward. Check it out if you get Doom. It's called "Don't Jake Me or you can search my gt.

1 RespuestaIt's absolutely fantastic! I love the game even the multiplayer which I've played pretty much exclusively. I'm waiting on a 3d fix to be made before diving into the campaign. The multiplayer is just fun, it doesn't require thinking or concentration, just hop in and have fun. If you are looking for a cod type of multiplayer you'll be disappointed. It's not about getting mad headshots or bragging about your K/D ratio. It's about running around and blowing shit up! Finding a chainsaw or BFG in multiplayer and then cutting people in two is great. Getting ripped in half by a daemon is fun! Don't care about winning and you'll just have fun.

Hell yes. The single player campaign goes back to the roots of the original Doom, constant moving and gory kills everywhere. The multiplayer is sub-par though at best.

2 RespuestasI played Doom ten years ago. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

5 RespuestasIt depends on what kind of gamer you are. If you love the old school classics like DOOM, Wolfenstein, Quake, and Unreal tournament, then this is a game for you. If the only experience of shooters you have is that of CoD, Halo, Battlefield, and others, then you might not have a good time. This is a different approach to shooters that has not been around for a while. This game is not for everybody. I suggest you look into some game play videos for your final verdict.

I'll almost certainly be splurging on it soon.

1 RespuestaIt was good, I have my problems with it, many problems, but, that doesn't overshadow the quality of the content that is there. It filled a gaping hole that was left over from my PC failing to run UT4.

12 RespuestasEditado por Braun700: 5/19/2016 8:32:22 AMI can't stand it. I got it digitally and will finish it but I find it extremely boring. It was said you have to go fast through fighting so you don't die and yet I find I can sit in one spot and kill everything with my pistol. I hope it gets better. It looks like there is some confusion, I did not say I beat the game with my pistol while staying in one area. I said that I have been using that method up to where I am in the game. And no matter what I think of the game. I will still beat it.

6 RespuestasIt is a very gratifiying game that will either keep you entertained with lots of mindless violence, or you'll hate it. It's one of those games it seems, where there really isn't a middle ground of love or hate. But so far I've sunk in about 15 hours and maybe halfway through the campaign on ultra violence with all collectables and challenges and such done. Take that as you will. Multiplayer is also a straight up arena shooter where guns aren't balanced and everything can be situational.

2 RespuestasI fvcking love it. Sp is very fun and there's a lot of collectables to be found through each level. Combat is amazing. Mp, you either like it or hate it. I find it to be pretty fun and see it as a bonus to an already stellar game. Snapmap, haven't mess with making my own levels (but since i have 2 days off now I'm going to town in it soon). I've played a few community made maps and can say this will add almost endless replayability to the game. I rate the game Fvcking-Metal/10
-
I rate it 8 Mick Gordons out of 10.

YES. The game plays like and a dream, the Campaign is the best out of any FPS in over a decade and Snapmap can be used to make some awesome co-op maps if you master it.
-
The campaign makes you feel like a raging badass..the MP meh. Haven't messed with snap map
-
From what I've heard, yes.
-
I just got it and wish I got uncharted instead

Garbage, just like most of us already knew.
