Exotic shard drought... Like if u agree
So who was the genius that thought Xur selling "legacy" engrams was a great idea?? I'm just curious as to why he's still selling them. They're over priced & completely useless, does anyone even buy them? What would be more useful & better for the community (I'm sure everyone will agree) is to have Xur sell exotic shards again

Because people want to collect exotics that are otherwise unavailable. What I don't understand is you're making it an either/or proposition. Why can't he sell legacy engrams AND exotic shards?

Really exotic shards...since 3oC I've probably got 100 of them through dismantling exotics, don't see the need for those or legacy engrams

I seem to get a lot of duplicates. I upgrade a few nodes on the duplicate, dismantle them, presto 2 shards!

What drought? Just get a rocket launcher from the kiosk use some motes and dismantle easy shard.

Yes people purchase the legacy engrams. They do this for an number of reasons; complete their collection, in hopes of getting a Y1 exotic not available yet in TTK (see Thorn) or because they can not read the word "legacy". The petition for Xûr to sell shards again has been on going. Sadly I think you could probably get them to increase his exotic to 310 before they would allow him to sell shards again.

exotic shard drought? Without trying I have 150 of those lying around in the vault. for something soo easily farmable thanks to kiosks you only have yourself to blame if you are running short of it.

you can turn 1 shard into 2 by buying a truth, buying a heavy weapon telemetry and using 6 motes of light That's how i've been able to stay up on shards

No need. Just spend your strange coins on 3 of coins, keep using them and you will have plenty of exotic shards. What else do you need strange coins for?

2 RespuestasJust to let everyone know if your running low on exotic shards you can buy a heavy telemetry from The gunsmith the go buy a couple truth or other heavy exotic weapon and use the heavy telemetry and six motes of lights dismantle the heavy exotic and you get two exotic shards back hope that helps
