I understand your frustration, but I really want you to take a breath & just read what I say with an open mind. Not coming from a place of salt, nor am I against you, because it sucks donkey balls when someone is cheating or they are being Super Lagger! What happens when someone names & shames you? Make no mistake Hoss, it will happen. Say your fireteam leader is lagging & that makes you lag as well. They run up blasting you with rockets, shotgun, super, primary, grenade & several melee attacks. They finally appear on your HUD, so you turn & OHK them. They get mad, post the video of this & name you as a cheater. Now you know you were not cheating & your internet is strong, so you step innto defend yourself......you are maybe going to get a max of half the members believing you, most likely a third. So, you have a 3rd of the players believing you & you have that group that just want to start trouble & watch the world burn, they make up the next 3rd (probably less, but want to keep the math simple). Now we have the last 3rd. These people do not believe you. You think to yourself, who cares, they do not know me. This is the internet, some of these players are capable of more than just posting hate on the net. Just report them. Do not get angry, just enjoy as much of the match as you can. They are not worth your time or blood pressure. Then hop out of that lobby after the match ends. It is not the best solution, but it works for me & maybe it can work for you. Anyways, I hope you have a good night & do not get stuck with any more bs tonight.

Report them... Cheating is a harsh word I think for the most part most red bars just have bad internet... I play with a guy I know isn't lag switching and I watch him jump all over the map... He's fine when it's pve but pvp is another story
-
6 Respuestaslol Right, because these forums aren't toxic enough as it is without the whole thing becoming a screaming match of people blaming each other for 'cheating' whenever they get beaten. Just report and move on
-
1 RespuestaI don't think that it's a good idea. It could be abused to insult the innocent, so no, it is a bad idea.
-
1 RespuestaNo. People would be going absolutely nuts. Not a good idea.
-
3 RespuestasAgree. I'll give an example of this: if you do break the law, then you can expect your face to be all over media whether it be TV, newspapers or social media. While this might not be directly breaking the law, I think the same idea should be applied here
-
2 RespuestasIt does more bad than good, the amount of witch hunts and abuse players would get would be far worse than reporting them in game, yes Bungie needs to be aware of a cheater when one arises but naming and shaming is a no go
-
1 RespuestaWhat if you're falsely accused? Next thing you know 1000's of people are shaming you on the forum and reporting and muting you for no reason because of something that was posted or because some dim witt was lagging, caught it on video and blames you for lag switching when in fact it was him causing the problem because of his garbage wifi connection hes stealing from across the street I personally think Bungie did right for not allowing it. You see a cheat report him and move on.

1 RespuestaEditado por Happyjoey547014: 5/19/2016 11:57:05 AMNaming and shaming was allowed on a website called QCDN (Quetzalcoatl daily news) when I played FFXI. It was a privately run website that quickly became the unofficial website for the server and had what was known as a flameboard. The flameboard would be taken down but always brought back. People liked the checks and balances it provided. Sure there where exceptions like there are with all things in life but overall it made the server safer by knowing who to trust. It worked for that game because you relied so much on other people to progress. Would it work for this one? No idea.

5 RespuestasNo because 9 times out of 10 they aren't cheating and they get hate for your decision

Editado por Deadlyknights79: 5/19/2016 12:05:34 PMSure why not I was in a game the other day and this Titan named
OP
(I think anyway) was like a rubberband...one min I have him in my sights then poof he would kill me from behind That and when he was almost beat he red barred and I got tossed to orbit...ddos right there I'd post a video but I don't know how
problem is that some people would believe me and then report you just because...how is that fair
I get it and people get pissed but there is no right way to fix it...use the ingame report system and keep your fingers crossed is all we have...just don't expect your one or two report to be heard, it takes a few to get past whatever filters Bungie uses
-
No it shouldn't. For obvious reasons like bullying. Just look at the little arseholes on this forum, Internet warriors galore. I also give nobody permission to use my image or gameplay footage on their YouTube channel or any other media which they make profit from. I wonder if this is actually a thing?
-
1 RespuestaI agree. F*** the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and that uppity ass Tooth Fairy.
-
1 RespuestaAgreed. I got a bunch of screenshots with these clowns on it. Shame.
-
We know so little about the inherent workings of the game, how are we really to judge if its cheating or lag? Bungie takes care of the obvious offenders. Im satisfied.
-
3 RespuestasFree speech on the forums should be allowed too So pathetic that Bungie wants to Silence the voice of the upset gamers.
-
2 RespuestasI'd be down with name and shame but the community can't seem to figure out the difference between lagging and actual cheating so it would just be a shitshow.
-
4 Respuestaswhat you post on facebook, or twitter is your business
-
9 RespuestasIn what sense are these people cheating?
-
There are proper channels are reporting that sort of thing.
-
Make a Youtube called Blacklist Gaming only naming people with their cheating footage playing behind it for ten seconds at a time. If you just put names it makes you look bratty but with examples everyone can be a judge.

1 RespuestaUse the report function often and without prejudice. It might not seem like anything is happening, but they'll get theirs in the end.
