How many hours do you think you can put into Doom without getting bored?

Well it has a single player campaign so that's a plus.

1 RespuestaA lot actually the MP is solid with the right loadouts. The Snapmap is gonna be awesome when the community starts bringing out content and the Campaign is really good too, with incentives to go back and replay missions. I give it a 9/10 replayability.
best loadout for MP is Vortex Rifle Combat shotgun Siphon grenade
2 RespuestasWhenever someone beats the hardest difficulty in the game I will be very surprised. Not even the creators can beat it
-
I'm just glad to hear people say there are lots of secrets in the campaign. It makes a game, a game.
-
8 RespuestasSurprised more aren't talking about the MP. From what a friend told me, it's up there with Quake... ie, amazing. Of course, my friend is playing it on pc so it might not be as good on console, Quake style fps kinda requires mouse and keys. But I'm purely xbox these days and I keen to try it out, if even just for the SP, which looks very good!

I rented it and it was ok, enjoyed the beta a ton but I'm tired of shotguns. I'm buying over watch instead
-
It took me like 30 hours to do everything in the campaign. Snap map isn't the answer to modding, but you can do some cool shit if you take the time to learn the advanced features. If it wasn't for the preset rooms, it would be better than forge.
-
10 hour campaign not counting secrets
-
Yes it has a ton
-
There's snap map which is pretty much forge from halo
-
1 RespuestaI've never played doom but if I had to guess I would say the campaign lasts about 6-7 hours.
-
2 RespuestasTechnically once the snap map system is flooded with quality builds it will be infinite.
-
-
The snapmap function theoretically provides nigh unlimited gameplay.
-
I've put in about 4/5 hours or so and frankly I'm already bored of it.
-
Campaign wise I could prob do it two maybe three times probably on a higher difficulty each time. MP wise I haven't touched it yet but I did enjoy the beta (though it's not the kind of MP I'd hit for hrs on end its more of a jump on for an hour MP for me) Have yet to try snap map but seeing as the creations are cross platform (PC,PS4 X1) giving more Variety and choice.
-
Depends. How much do you like trying user created content or making your own raids? Snapmap is giving me hours of creating and publishing with no end in sight yet
-
I've been working on a snap map for 3 days now, so I'm gonna say a lot. You can build any kind, size of map you want. You can create all kinds of logic strings ( exp: when spawn wave is finished, spawn miniboss, armor, ammo, and health. When miniboss hits 0 health he drops code key to unlock door) Its wild!

Editado por weirdboy99: 5/19/2016 8:44:31 AMIt has a decent lenght singleplayer campaign, its on par with most sigleplayer focused games, it also has good replay value. The MP is not that special, it is ok but I don't think it will last very long. For me it is fine, I think it is worth the 60$ I payed, but if you want hundreds of hours for your money then this is not it, I gues it might last you 20 to 40 hours depending on how much you like replaying it and if you like the MP. If 60$ is too much for that then wait for a pricecut, it is a great game IMO. Edit: snapmap might add some but at the moment there is not that many intresting stuff going on there but that might change if people get some time with it.

1 RespuestaEditado por Ungod: 5/18/2016 1:47:03 PMThe campaign is 10-12 hours long if you rush it. If you search for all the secrets and ramp up the difficulty I'm expecting at least 30+ from my first play through. Then however long you enjoy the mp. Oh forgot the classic maps, that should be good for at least another 10+ hours
-
2 RespuestasI've probably played the campaign for at least 15 hours and still have a few more levels. I've prestiged once so far in multiplayer and played quite a few of the snapmap games. I'll be playing this game for quite awhile, there's tons to do.
-
15 RespuestasFor me, it will be however many hours it takes for me to beat ultra nightmare.
-
1 RespuestaDepends on what you want out of the game. I tired the snapmap first without trying the campaign....10+ hours later I have two test levels built waiting to polish and do a last check before publishing them. Then I'll try the campaign XP

Editado por eviltedi: 5/19/2016 6:49:28 AMHow many hours do you want ? Campaign is easily 10 to 12 hours for one run through. It will be a lot more if your looking for all secrets without a guide. There's one secret in each level that basically gives you a second game. Then you have snap map. You can build or download an infinite number of challnges and maps. Then multiplayer. Which I love, it has great games like Soul Harvest and TDM etc. The level of customisation is incredible in multiplayer. All armour parts can be changed and made to look worn and or dirty. You can also do your guns in the same way. Edit = Snap map is cross platform. Maps can be designed on Xbox and used on PS 4 or PC, or designed on PC and used on Xbox and PS 4 etc. How many hours do you have ?

1 RespuestaDepends, there's a very solid campaign. Can take you a while depending on the difficulty you choose. The MP, as far as I'm concerned, is the best FPS MP that's come out in a long time. And the snap map feature allows you to build your own levels, and play on other peoples levels with up to 3 other players co-op.
