Modern shooters have mostly tainted their views. The player Base is divided. You have the longtime DOOM/Quake/ Unreal fans who are used to this kind of game play, and the people who got into shooters with the more modern games. So many of the people complaining are the modern shooter crowd. The ones that complain the game is not balanced. The closed alpha/beta had a very different crowd than the open beta.
