Instead of reading that wall of text so large you could defend westeros with it, I'm just going I state what happened. The Traveler grew tired of running and seeing it's children die. It decided that running was no longer worth it and humanity was its last and best hope for the Light. As a result is decided to stay and fight with us. Rasputin didn't know this, and though she was going to run anyway, so he shot ungodly amounts of firepower at her. The result explosion created a wave of light that radiated across the system. This wave of light pushed back the Darkness temporarily. Where the wave of light and Darkness first encountered and clashed was in the asteroid belt. The two powers clashing killed most humans and changed the survivors into Awoken.

Actually, correct. Non lore scrub
-
Actually not correct, you'd know if you read the lore and listened to lore 25/8
-
Apart from the fact that the traveler was going to run (it was being "pushed" to quote the grimiore) Why do you think this is incorrect?
-
For one the traveler didn't grow tired of running...Rasputin forced the traveler to stay and the traveler then created the ghosts in its dying breath I could continue with pointing out things but that's the first thing flawed
-
Yep, totally wrong.

You're going to have to say specifically how and why I'm wrong considering I've expressed in broad strokes the consensus reached by both of the most prominent lore clans.

I think in broad terms you are mostly correct, although there is a lot more nuance to the story, hence the huge walls of texts you will find in any lore post.
