Should shoulder charge require some sort of cool down or something?
For real, people complained about lifedrain and Warlock melee for too long. Shoulder charge is a guarantee 1 hit kill with no cool down, and storm grip heals you and also OHKO 99% of the time I get hit by it.

As i am sure probably everyone has said it does have a sprint cooldown attached, and guaranteed 1hko my ass, more often then not it 'connects' but does no damage and leaves you open to retaliation. Plus you have to run and stopping to defend yourself cancels it. If your dying to it regularly your just getting into situations you should be avoiding. I use it a heap but its main use is movemen, it lacks consistancy.

I have a better balance idea. Give strikers a adjustment to shouldercharge. When you connect with the current shoulder charge it deals 75 % of current dammage and also adds an arc burning effect for 20 seconds thatd wittle your health down over time. Ofcourse the ticks would be like 1 health point per second. Also the enemies screen should get a blue envenomed effect similiar to pre april update thorn. Also when titan connects it should turn him invisible and give him 3x overshield. You also get a 2x buff to agility. :) there i sucsessfully gave you an option to keep you alive when i shoulder charge you. [spoiler]#sarcasm #itsoubdsgoodthough[/spoiler]

6 RespuestasI main a hunter so I am not bias here. I survive 80% of shoulder charges because I shade step away from it and then shotgun them. Sometimes I come up against a very skilled Titan and my hat goes of to them for killing me.

It's the highest risk/ reward weapon in the game. Someone has the balls to run right up to someone when they could be easily and instantaneously shut down by a shotgun, they deserve that kill.

4 RespuestasThe other classes are far better than titans perk wise, about the only thing going for a striker titan is sc and overcharge melee( if they connect, hit detection is horrible across the board ). FoH( those that FoP are no titan ) is only good in situations and a -blam!-ing crate can ruin everything. You have to be good with hammers for good results, defenders require even more skil for PvP. So please tell us again( in detail ) how a titan is op. [spoiler]This was in someones reply, but I think it need to be here too.[/spoiler]

Not guaranteed. First, you have to hit the target. Second, the hit has to register. While doing that you also must avoid getting shot gunned or melee' or supered.

It does have a charge time which is the same as cool down, and it is not a one hit kill anymore sometimes, plus you get killed easily by a good shotgun user. Lear to counteract and you will own shoulder chargers.
