Bungie, you did a super super job, I am 335 now on all 3 characters, and I am 63 years old but why am i still getting 334 gear when I use my 3 of coins?
-
1 RespuestaDon't understand what 63 has to do with it...another number to add to the post?
-
1 RespuestaI keep a 320 primary at all times and it drops me to 333 with the rest of my gear at 335. I get 335 gear 80% of the time with 333 light.

9 RespuestasEditado por Sanctus Michael: 5/18/2016 9:57:14 AMI may be wrong, but I think it's a programming loop. Ever notice how when you were 333 and you decrypted an exotic, it gave you a 334 or 335 item? At 334 it gave you almost always 335? But at 335, the software is trying to fulfill the requirement of decrypting at a higher light than the character, but it can't because the player is at the max. It gets a "null" response, yet still trying to produce a decrypted item result. So, when trying to decrypt 1 level higher (like being 333 giving a 334 item), it trys to go to the next level 336, it can't and gets a null response, and bounces back 1 level to from 336 to 335. No problem, the player is happy. But when it randomly selects to decrypt 2 levels higher (like being 333 but decrypting a 335 item) it tries to go to 336, it can't and gets a null response, so bounces back 2 levels from 336 which becomes 334. I'm probably wrong, but I'm gonna do all my exotic engram decrypting at 334, so if the software randomly selects 1 level higher, it becomes 335. If it randomly decrypts an item 2 levels higher, it'll try to go to 336, can't, and bounces back the excess 1 level to 335. Idk if this will work, but I do know a few things for certain: 1) the game is required and programmed to produce an exotic engram at a higher light than my character. 2) at 334, there is a level that exists which is a higher light... 335. Since 336 doesn't exist, but 335 does, this will meet the programmed requirement of producing an exotic at higher light than the character. EDIT: Apparently at 334 you can still get exotics decrypting at 334. So much for bungie saying that exotic engrams will always decrypt at a higher light. I don't know what to say.

Decode Exotic Engrams as a 334. Trust me.
-
Loot overall is higher than your light, at max light it will oscillate between 335 and 334. Sort of like how rep package rewards oscillate between 330 and 329 when your light is at least 330 (rep packages cap at 330 light).
-
Bungies Rng math. It's meant to keep you playing for that one piece you need. YES ITS TRUE! I also believe they flipped the loot pool after the update too. The abundance of loot I got year one is now no more. I now geet the loot I didn't. Example no gauntlets after update before to many.

I think its a 50/50 chance to get a 334 or 335 Personally, I got 90% 335 item from engramms or loot that can be 335 Rarely I get 334 items Many of my friends have the opposite droprate Solution: before enchrypt an exo or defeat a strike boss, drop to 333/334 Works 95% of the time But really, 335 or 334... Do u really care? U are already max so why? Damage Output/damage resistance is no different at 334 Oo
-
I am getting 334 from everything now when I am 335.
-
Drop your level to 334 if you can before you open those packages or exotics.
-
Artificially extend the grind. You'd hit 335 with any equipment far too easily if it was guaranteed
-
1 RespuestaI'm getting tired of 334 rewards for my sigil. THESE SHOULD BE GUARANTEED 335

Editado por CBZ030: 10/18/2016 4:16:00 AMWe need an item that will grant +1 Light one time per weapon so we can infuse the lame 334 to max 335
-
I'm ok with it. I feel bungie did it to make it easy to hit 335 but not super easy to get all your extra gear to 335.
-
I agree, its redic. I would much rather go back to the days of getting 2 blues for a purple
-
1 RespuestaI definetly noticed a since the patch a few weeks ago..... 3 outta almost 20 3oC exotics were 335 Rest 334 Not the same as before Seemed more 50/50 before
-
Be me 332 Titan Gets exotic special engram Visit cryptarch Decode Gets Plan-C . . . 300 light level Da FUUUUQQQQ!
-
Everyone knows Rahool keeps all the best stuff for himself, he's been doing it since day one, c'mon man
-
just keep grinding. everyone says to drop your light so you have a better chance at 335 stuff, but it won't matter after you have been 335 for a week or two, and have 335 gear falling out of your ears.
-
Daily grind... they've done something with the three of coins where your projected to get less and there's no guarantee you'll get 335 items.

8 RespuestasUse 330 gear to get 335. I had to do this for my damn sniper

2 RespuestasEditado por KannibalKlown: 5/17/2016 1:49:14 PMWow. I had not heard of this before. Completely new report. OMG. /sarcasm This is the most popular topic outside of "WTF 3 of Coins nerfed" and "Nerf Shadestep" The bug is around a month or so old. You don't rush out bug fixes unless it's a critical thing, because it takes time to make the fix, test that nothing else broke, build the patch, coordinate the deployment, etc. This is not a critical bug. Hopefully it will be fixed with the next patch.

I'm also 335 along with many of us. That shouldn't be.

Lost all credibility at 'U'
-
I'm still 314 or 315 on warlock...

1 RespuestaDon't blame bungie, it's those cryptarch cheapskates
