They originally mentioned before Taken King came out that we would be able to do this. I want to be able to make one of mine EXO since I didn't realize it was the only way to get the grimoire card.

4 RespuestasI'm all for the ability to change the appearance of your Guardian, and maybe the gender too. But species? No way. Let me explain... Let's begin with the Awoken. They are descendants of the humans who tried to escape Earth during the Collapse. They got no further than the Reef. They faced the Darkness beyond the Reef, and it changed them. The Awoken we know today are humans corrupted/changed by the Darkness, but also influenced by the Light. Considering the state that the Light is in, cleansing the Darkness in the Awoken is pretty much impossible. Furthermore, to turn a Human into an Awoken would, in theory, require the human to be exposed to some form of Darkness. To sum it all up, the way the Awoken were created is a mystery, and replicating the process is impossible. Now the Exo. The Exo are highly advanced "robots" with the mind/brain of a human uploaded into them. The technology used to create them was lost in the Collapse, and thus it is no longer doable. The end. Changing a human or an awoken into an exo is not possible. Changing an Exo into a human or an Awoken is also not doable, due to that, apart from the missing technology, their minds would need a living host. It's a one way procedure. Also, even if the Exo tech was somehow recovered, transferring a human/Awoken Guardian's consciousness into an Exo host might backfire. You could end up with a braindead immortal body, and a regular Exo. This would obviously go the same way for an Exo consciousness transferred into a human/Awoken body, if that was possible. And for Humans, I've already talked about them. Recap: Humans can't become Awoken because mysterious force of Darkness is the most likely cause of the Awoken, and the technology needed for Exos is gone.

As much as I agree I feel you should be able to change your markings & hair only! your race & gender should be set in stone.

I only want to change facial features and hair style. Changing gender or race just seems too much. Should have chose carefully when making a character but facial features and hair style should not be fixed on permanent.

I would like to change my warlock, my friend and I have similar characters and it just throws off the personality to which I have to put on my helmet.

1 Respuestaseeing how most folks wear their helmets in the tower, does it really matter? Personally I'd like to see this as a feature just because I like variety, and this would encourage that.

Think more before creating a toon first... you can downvote this all you want, just proves my point for me. people only want it because they were lazy in making their toon and vain. keep downvoting what I say, it just proves my points for me. that you are vain and lazy and want things given to you when you they are not really needed in the game at all. that you think you are entitled to it just because some other game or company did it or because you paid for the game, when no you are not and never was or ever will be.
