The remaining mechs create a shield around one that looks like the leader as it shifts into a more cannon like form, preparing to fire off a beam of pure energy
English
-
Firing off their hunter-killer missiles, they fly above the shield of enemies to crash straight into the leader.
-
It manages to fire off the beam before being destroyed. The energy crashes through the forest and right into the gears, taking plenty of them out.
-
While the battle against the mechs raged, the camp was still being assaulted by the extremely heavy artillery. It had been pounded on for the whole fight, and was pretty much a crater at this point.
-
The Serpens start to look for a way out of the death trap of a area, praying at least one ship was still strong enough to destroy the weapons platform pounding them
-
Their encampment was separated from the others, as they had just arrived on the planet. There was no help coming to them. As for the Triumvirate, the day was theirs. Or, at least, on this battle... for the war was far from over.
-
Even though the Serpens lost this battle, they had taken a good deal of Gears and soldiers down with them.... Back at the base.... Phobos reviews the battle, studying every bit of it to figure out how to improve their chances at the next one
-
Once the battlefield had been wiped clean of any trace of serpens, the stealth troops returned to their base, The Core.
-
Phobos waits for them, ready to hand out new information
-
The summit elevator comes down, and the three squads of stealth snipers disembark.
-
"Well done soldiers, keep this up and we'll have no problems kicking those oversized snakes back to where they came."
-
"Yes. It seems they don't have any advanced stealth detection system."
-
"Interesting..... We could use this to our advantage...."
-
"Indeed. Luckily for us, Nishimura-San has accepted projects in the past for the development and research of cloaking technologies, including the unearthing of strange alien artifacts."
-
"Good, you're dismissed for now. Go have some fun, you guys earned it."
-
lol, you ain't their superior
"We will report to the commander." They walk past her, deeper into the base.
-
Whoops
Meanwhile.... Ajax works in the labs, making sure everything went well
-
Elsa walks into the lab, wearing a short little labcoat with a cute skirt and thigh high white silky stockings underneath. She had let her hair free. "So, any progress?"
-
"A little, yeah. I haven't been able to create a vaccine for the Mutagenic Virus yet though...."
-
She came up to him. "Really? What's the issue?"
-
"The amount of strains, it changes so rapidly that a vaccine would work for at least a few minutes, at best."
-
"Well, we have roughly the same recipe for the G virus antidote. Let's just map that antibody pattern with the pattern of the mutagenic, piece of cake." She smiles, putting hair behind her ear.
-
He shows her it. The Virus was noticing the antibodies and changing within a few minutes "We would have to find a way to keep the virus in one strain."
-
Editado por Shadlezz: 5/16/2016 10:44:52 PM"The G Antidote works in a similar way. Let me go get a sample."
-
"Alright, thanks." Ajax continues to study it
-
She leaves the room, then returns with a purple vial. "Here, I'll show you how it works. Artificial Antibodies produced by the vaccine map themselves to the mutagenic portion of the virus. That way, it can predict to 100% any split paths the gene could take."
