i think my heart is failing

2 RespuestasWhat exactly is the matter? I found out that my heart isn't 100% either. Last year in may, I had to do some tests at a cardiologist to see if I could take narcosis during an operation of my jaws. They found out that my pump function was 10% less than what it's supposed to be. Normally it should be 60% or something, but I have 45%. My dad has dilated cardiomyopathy. It's been tested though if I got it from him, like genetic. But, that was not the case. Though, in my family, there's been a bunch of peeps who had heart trouble. In my case it's not that bad as of yet, but I think I will face many problems in the future with my heart. :( It blows... I know what my dad has to do and everything. Taking loads of medication and he has a device in his chest that will shock him back to life if he would ever get a heart attack or something. My dad is luckily doing fine though. He can still do quite a lot of things, luckily. But, he does need to take things slowly. But, that's why I am there to help him! :D

Have you tried turning it off and on again? [spoiler]may wish to seek medical attention if you believe your heart is acting up. It may be as simple as easing up on caffeine and/or getting a good night's sleep, but all the same...[/spoiler]
