The insane part is that this has been left alone while arcbolt was destroyed, when it's essentially a firebolt with no Viking funeral.
Firebolt has always been way better than arcbolt ever was, and yet one got nerfed to uselessness while the other "would break the subclass" to just make the burn faster??? Dafuq?

Arcbolt can chain to enemies that weren't within the original radius, which firebolt can't do. But it's still incredibly lackluster
-
That's true. But if an arcbolt lands with three people in its radius, it can't tag both directions. If the person in the middle is the closest, the arc can only link one direction or the other. So if you throw a nade dead center of a group of three, only two are tagged.
-
Yeah, I did say it was lackluster lol. It just has one little thing about it that firebolt can't. Which I'm guessing is why Bungie has left it like this? But, it's still bad. Skip is just way better at this point
-
Psh. The only reason they've left it this way is because it's just be one more thing for them to say "Yeah we were wrong, it was right before"
-
I think it needs a buff, or more options within the subclass or with exotics. Make it do more damage to enemies it chains to? Anything along these lines would help big time
-
My biggest problem is that it makes lucky raspberry a horrible exotic. It's like having a Titan exotic that makes thermite grenades last longer.
-
Editado por Roosevelt: 5/15/2016 5:46:15 PMLucky raspberry gives you grenade energy on spawn with any grenade, so that's still nice. Also, year 1 raspberry gives increased fusion rifle ammo which works for sleeper simulant. This stacks with increased heavy boots, giving you 15 sleeper shots. Pretty dope in the raid Edit: I also have a strong attachment to lucky raspberry because it was my first exotic. Bought it week 2 from Xur instead of ghallarhorn, no regrets.
But so much regret...
I know right. They do the same base damage but one burns you for 7 seconds. If anything they should buff arc bolt to do 110 not 85
-
It did around there before they nerfed it. Doesn't even take shields all the way down now
-
It used to do 122.
-
That's what I thought. But I didn't want to be wrong. Since 122 is the dmg for a plethora of other things. (Uncharged melee lightning etc)
