97 RespuestasEditado por Badshah Kazi: 5/15/2016 6:35:35 PMIt's a never ending cycle. Game gets hyped up to kill Destiny Game comes out and turns out to be shit People force themselves to like it and make posts about it Eventually people give up and go back to Destiny So two Call of Duty games, Division and a Assassin's Creed later, we're still here. Edit: Just a question to you blind Destiny haters who refuse to listen to reason, did Bungie kill your cat or what? I don't see why some of you are so adamant in claiming it's dead when you have barely any statistics or evidence to back yourselves up or why you hate it so much. Lol Also, before any misinformed idiot calls me a Destiny fanboy, I don't play Destiny neither do I like it anymore. But just because I stopped playing it doesn't mean it's dead.

11 RespuestasPeople are just playing a waiting game to see what happens with the next patch (1.2) that will drop in the next few weeks. Ubisoft has already announced some of the changes, and I saw an uptick in players coming back to the game. Long story short, Massive is making a lot of the same mistakes----and doubling down on others-----that Bungie made with early Destiny's end-game. 1. Too much RNG 2. Stingy loot system. 3. Arbitrary progression walls. 4. Using access to loot as a means of controlling the player, and pressuring them into playing certain parts of the game. Add to this an end-game PVE event ("Falcon Lost" Incursion) that was a total flop....and you have a game that is in a lot of trouble right now. The game released with a end-game loot system that ignored allt he things it did right in the base game....so was broken. But it had a crafting system that worked well However, Massive got panicky that people were leveling up too fast with it....so in patch 1.1 they absolutely GLASSED the crafting system....but didn't bother to really fix the loot system. So the game has been---for the last month----a painful grind that goes nowhere fast as far as loot goes. It takes about 6-8 hours of game play to find/craft/buy one item that is better than you currently have equipped. ...and people are leaving the game because they've gotten tired of it....and Massive knows that this is their last chance to save this game.

I thoroughly enjoy it, just hoping for more things to do, and 1.2 next Tuesday is looking promising in that regard. I like it, and I know a lot of people here could care less about it. Hence, I go to the Ubisoft forums to talk about it.
-
That game is a snoozefest. I played it, did a couple missions, then never played it again. Thankfully my friend who i was homesharing with at the time bought it instead of me. That would have been the worst 60$ i ever spent
-
I was highly disappointed after 2 weeks. The worst grind in any game ever. Ill never trust Ubisoft again. Just glad I didn't buy the season pass.

11 RespuestasAt launch, the Division had around 9.5 million registered users. Since then, the population has dropped around 80% (which I'm pretty sure was heard from The Know), which would leave it at around 1.9 million users remaining on all platforms, and this number is also dropping. By all accounts, it's pretty dead.
-
I'll come back when patch 1.2 comes out. Need to sink my teeth in DS3.
-
Fuck the division and Fuck destiny. Praise the sun!!! \[T]/
-
Welcome to #Gaming. Said game will be better than everything then a week later no one gives a -blam!-, just like Bungievision's rubbish.
-
I love the game. I find it a lot of fun. I just jump and do my daily missions and enjoy myself.
-
I was hyped for it But after both betas and a few hours of release gameplay I've yet to come back to it So boring
-
They made a crap ton of money, and people like to play it. So it did not flop. Massive and Ubusoft were pretty successful
-
flopped. dont see positive threads or and post about it.
Then you should've been here when it came out and everyone was circlejerking over it
-
Maybe because those that like it find a place to talk with people that also like it? This isn't the only game forum on the internet.

I try and enjoy the Division. I truly do. But it is broken FAR beyond whatever Destiny ever was. I have yet to fall through a map in Destiny, infinite re-loading screens, traveling to another planet when I join a friend who is in a mission, not be able to re-load my gun, emptying 8 clips into a low level NPC to kill it, Felwinters Lie looks like a water pistol compared to the shotguns the NPC's carry in the Division, this run on sentence has gone on long enough. Bottom line, I rarely play Destiny anymore, but when I do it is a much more stable game. It was more stable on launch and it is a more polished product. Don't even get me started on the PVP aspect of this game. Enemy goes rogue, runs and glitches into a safe room or container. Can't be killed. Glitching teams steam roll solo players. It's just chaos and I get that's what it's supposed to be like, but, there is no joy in it. Far too many exploits and just not worth the headache. When the Division works, it works perfectly. I've been involved in some of the best tactical firefights I've ever witnessed in this game. Then two minutes later I want to shatter my television screen with my controller.
-
Destiny, Didn't feel like willingly being robbed picking up TTW. What with how vanilla was handled... Bungo had their chance and faceplanted imo. Division is just broken af. >log in >fixt yet? >back to Souls.
-
3 RespuestasCorrection. People are still playing Destiny, even if they say they hate it.
-
When has one game "killed" another game? It just doesn't happen. I don't mean lower the amount of players for X amount of time. I mean killed.
-
1 RespuestaI don't know. I just got to lvl 30 and I'm enjoying it. I've beaten most everything destiny has to do at least once, so instead of endless grinding, I just started a new cycle. It keeps things fresh.
-
The Division was more of a letdown. I was really enjoying the game for about a month... Then the endgame fell flat. Not to mention the game is plagued by exploits, broken min/maxing and poor support. Not to mention balancing the game around the top few percent of players and leaving even the serious casuals out to dry.

4 RespuestasTom clancy games are not really popular so its not a suprise that people think it sucks.

1 RespuestaI think it was reported that 81% have stopped playing.
-
4 RespuestasThe game didn't flop. I don't understand why so many retards liked this post. I guess selling around ten million copies means a game flopped to them.
-
1 RespuestaCool dude you really are super awesome.

Destiny has wayyyyy more players and lasted much longer.
