Make a free lance version of trials
This is a must. I'm tired I'm looking or waiting for people or finding just the "right" time to play trials with my friends. We don't all have the same schedule, some are single, some are married, some have kids. We just don't have the time to coordinate the "perfect time" all the time.

I would love that. I hate searching on the forums for group. The high stat demand is brutal!

It would be a mess. People don't even communicate in Elimination and it's filled with quitters.

You mean add matchmaking for trials, right? I'm not much of a PVP fanatic, so I can't really comment on this. From What I've read in the comments, not many people agree with you. Ah well...

Find new friends or don't do trials.

Trials rewards TEAM play - it is the PvP equivalent of Raiding i.e. something designed to reward those that run as a team TOGETHER. It sounds like you are asking for the same rewards given to teams, just because you can't organise your own social schedule?

It would have to be a ranked playlist so that you would go up against similarity skilled players.

I'd love something like this. I'm not always on at set times so organising with friends who still play and want to run ToO is difficult, I'm in the UK so there's a smaller pool of people on LFGs who are up for casual play/having fun rather than being desperate to get to the lighthouse(or demanding a flawless emblem/2.0 KD to even get in a group), and the player base is naturally smaller given we're well into year 2. I'd like to get to the Lighthouse of course (day 1 player, never done better than 7-0), but given even getting a game is fairly difficult because of all the above I've more or less written it off as the only thing I'll probably not manage in Destiny. Sure, I get why Bungie have ToO and raids set as non-matchmaking, but times have changed. It'd be cool to give players who are still here and still playing the game a chance to experience as much as possible!

If it's totally freelance where you legitimately can't bring fireteams in, then ya I'd be down to play, as long as the team you're with sticks together throughout the card.

Skirmish would be the testing grounds theoretically speaking. Only mode that comes close to Trials. If not, then the next step is to bump those numbers up when it is available. This is in terms of how often it is played. What this does is it would tell Bungie how many players prefer the freelance modes, and whether or not to incorporate it into future patches or updates. Unless there is a huge jump from team play to solo play, and the numbers Bungie gathers support it, would they consider it as a whole. It's one of those "well everyone is doing this....so why don't we make "x" mode for them" things. The majority will rule what happens.

I think all crucible game types should be available freelance. (Sometimes I solo Q, others with friends) Solo players shouldn't be forced into eg rift or salvage, to get games with non pre-made teams, when they want to play eg clash or skirmish.
