Except for the fact that there are tons of inside areas throughout the map that a solid shotgunner knows how to use to his advantage, it's actually the most balanced map that there is. If you go outside (where the capture point is) you'll see snipers aplenty, but anywhere inside is primaries and shotguns territory. I almost exclusively use a shotgun on my warlock (I don't know why but I seem to just play better shot gunning than sniping on my warlock) and I managed to do pretty well for myself.

1 RespuestaSaw a lot of Hidden Hand snipers bring used lastnight Even saw a whole team with hidden hand meta setup, PDX45 hidden hand, LDR/longbow hidden hand and Truth I mean do they need that much assistance to get kills?? How about we get a hidden hand perk for the controller you just set it down and it takes you flawless

2 RespuestasI remember when people would say the same thing about shotguns. Bungie does not favor one type of weapon. The community just gets mad at them because one type of weapon is overused and they think Bungie favors them. The second shotguns become more popular then snipers, I guarantee we will see posts like this about shotguns. There is just no way to please people.

9 Respuestasthere are 3-4 maps in the whole game which are good for snipers. everything else is shoty .. sorry that u wont be able to get free kills this week

1 RespuestaThe only particularly unbalanced or unfun maps IMO are Cathedral of Dusk (where's the monorail?), Blind Watch (everybody get to the hallway!), Black Shield (camp inside, or camp outside? Snipes for everybody!), and Shores of Time (Snipers of Time). Timekeeper is fun but a pretty unbalanced map for Trials.

1 RespuestaAlmost all maps are close to medium range maps with long range lanes for sniping and scout rifles. If anything, the maps support shotgunning very well.
