So i've been thinking, we don't have a healer type subclass in destiny, and imo sunsinger can potentially fit this role perfectly if redesigned.
ill outline some basic changes that could be made.
Grenades:
Flashfire: Allies within detonation radius recieve increased agility and handling speeds on all weapons.
Flameveil: Allies within detonation radius recieve an overshield for 10 seconds
Firebolt: Same as current so they still have 1 offensive option
Melee:
Touch of Flame: Allies struck by this melee recieve an overshield for 10 seconds
Cauterize: Remove an allies debuffs and begin health regeneration
Ignite: Ignite an enemy dealing fire damage over time (offense option)
Super:
Song of Flame: Increase regeneration rate of melee and grenade abilities for you and your allies aswell as increase ally regeneration
Radiant Will: Radiance lasts significantly longer but only benefits yourself
Phoenix Fire: When cast near downed allies all allies are revived and restored with full health, grenade, and melee energy (does not self revive or revive allies with overshields)(Edit: Super also becomes a one off ability like nova bomb, fist of havoc, etc.)
Let me know what you think.
Edit: Its an idea meant to be built upon, not taken at face value. Try giving suggestions that support the idea instead of staying in your little box and say something constructive, if you absolutely have to pretend that your precious sunsingers are fine and this is a brand new subclass in development.
Also your insane if you think bungie would take this post seriously so stop worrying and have some fun ffs.

You took away Self Revive. Invalid. ~I'll Ram your ass!

Its a DoT focused class. You're turning it into a support class which it is not. And a one and done super? No class has two supers that are one and done. Defender has a long duration so that doesn't count as a one and done.

1 RespuestaEditado por Yiazzy: 5/14/2016 12:29:58 AMNo. You leave my Sunsinger alone. Sincerely, A Sunsinger who never mained Firebolts or the Touch of Flame/Viking Funeral combo. (More of a Claws of Ahamkara melee mad kind of guy....) Edit for the idiots: (INB4) Yes, my Sunsinger subclass is not upgraded at all. I clearly remade my Warlock recently. Flame off.

My idea is easier.
leave the classes the way they are, shut the hell up, and play the game.
-
So we take a titan perk and make it even better, but for warlocks. And now we have two Touch of Flame perks. Yeah no thanks.
-
No. I like my fusion nades and melee. Thanks

2 RespuestasYea -blam!- off. The solar nades touch of flame and vf stay. Dont give a flying -blam!- about the rest
-
Ah I like sunsingers how they are. It would be awesome if our next subclass was healing based tho
-
1 RespuestaNo, it's not designed for that it would break it.
-
That's just a stupid idea. What about my fusion grenades? Not everyone wants to use the op grenade all the time, and what about self res? Warlocks would literally be COMPLETELY useless in raids if u took that away
-
No. Let hunters have the support class since they are the weakest.
-
Let's see Hunter main check Warlock that isn't Sunsinger check
-
It would work as a support class if there was a more linear assault/defend mode, but in traditional PvP it would be too hard to see great benefits. Nice ideas.

2 RespuestasEditado por Phat King Bing: 5/14/2016 1:15:55 AMHonestly it's shit. Your redesign I mean. It's too much of an attempt at a support class. The thing about an fps and a game with a time to kill like this is. You can't have an ability that only helps allies. In pvp allies can be so scattered it won't help at all. And when tell me during oryx would I have time to melee an ally? I'm generally the runner. So I'm gonna stop running and go melee some guy who's about to die? I don't mean to be rude but these ideas would be the death of my favorite class. How come hunters and titans get to keep their dot shit? Huh? No answer? Didn't -blam!-ing think so.

I think flameveil would get way over used in pvp, but sounds like a good pve idea
