The worst LFG raid group stories
I want to see some funny stories about a horrible raid group you joined in LFG.
Joined a raid group of players almost max light, get into the raid and all you hear is "hey how do you do this part?"
Edit 1: so many posts and replies! Reading all these groups in LFG is so funny xD
Edit 2: Some really funny stories and unbelievable ones. Even some of you are bumping this thread so you can have a laugh later. I love to read all you're stories and experiences.
Edit 3: 300+ comments?!?!? This is the most comments I have ever had on a post ever! Thank you everyone. The stories you all have posted are also very funny and exposes some pretty awful fire team leaders, Some of the things you have posted are just unfathomable, I really cannot believe people actually act like this!

14 RespuestasMe and two others went around the tower to find people to do Crotas End. We found three others, and it was horrible! We did not even make it to Crota! Everyone else died, and they left me in the hellmouth for months!

10 RespuestasOkay so my story is definitely not a bad story. Instead it's a story of 5 guardians who definitely could've been completely different. This was before April update, so getting to 300+ wasn't easy without the raid, and late enough that people didn't want upper 290s anymore. So I go on LFG, looking to see if anyone would want a 298 Titan would didn't quite have his bubble all the way leveled up. What I didn't see was that it was actually the hard raid I was joining in, and each of the guys I was with were 315 or higher. They still let me join, first ever raid experience, and made sure to tell and show me every mechanic to the raid, every secret chest, every shortcut. We didn't end up finishing oryx, but I ended up done with that raid a 305, and knowing how to do all aspects of the raid, hard mode and normal. Those guys could've just kicked me straight back out to orbit, said screw you and been on their way. But they took their time with me, Sherpa'd me as well as any Sherpa could, stood with me through countless mistakes and wipes, and truly gave me one of the best experiences of my Destiny career. I still try and do at least one end game activity with these guys a week, and even if I don't get all of them I still make sure to thank them for including me even after all these months. So the TL;DR, 5 guardians carried me and taught me Hard Kings Fall in my first ever raiding experience, and giving me 5 new friends.

I still think mine takes the cake. A guy with "experience with the sword" at Crota tells us as he grabs the sword.... [i]"I got the knights in the tower, you guys get Crota!!!".....[/i] Ya... that went well. LMFAO!

1 RespuestaNot lfg but there was this one girl who we practically needed a crane to carry as we made our way to atheon, when we finally got there she got ported and I realized it was only me and the relic holder fighting, i said"where is the third?" She replied"I'm by the starting portal I said I needed to be cleansed" We hadn't even been through the portal 10 seconds We finally got to the second rotation after 3 wipes, and she started going"I DONT LIKE BEING UNFAIRLY TREATED LIKE A SCRUB BECAUSE IM A GIRL" and I had my audio running through the tv, so a family member who was in the room with me yelled"THAT BITCH NEEDS A MIDOL" I was on the floor laughing.

So me and my friend needed to do VoG to complete the No Time To Explain quest. We found some kids on LfG and quickly found out they were young af. We turned off our mics, and laughed to each other, but kept playing cause we needed this done. The kids kept getting spotted over and over again, and it took us forever to get to Atheon. They kept bragging about how good they were and calling each other shit. One of them ( a -blam!-ing 9 year okd with a Scottish accent) left in the middle of the raid and webhad to getbanotherbone of our friends to help. His non-squeaking voice pulled us through finally.

Just as we were about to wipe some dude picks up his mike and says " whoa dude I just made the most epic sandwich, what's going on" we died I turned off the ps4.

2 RespuestasOur usual group was doing oryx challenge with one from LFG. After numerous fails the LFG suddenly had connection problems (guess he forgot you can see what a person is doing). So we LFG a replacement; First thing we hear is the voice of (let's say a 12 year old) "please don't kick me". We assured we wouldn't kick. Kid ran defender Titan with me in the middle. We wipe first run, don't remember why. Second run the fool of a Titan in the middle died killing the 4th knight on the 4th round of orbs. Luckily the fool did kill the night and the remaining members finished the challenge. Moral of the story is just because it is a kid playing, doesn't mean they can't play. The LFG kid was great; I was the fool Titan that died ;)

1 RespuestaWhen I post that I need experienced players for a quick run and then I get people that say they have watched the raid on YouTube a few times so they know how to do hard mode. I tell them, "Yeah. And I watch a lot of porn so that means I can last." Then they get kicked.

I don't really raid, ever. But I was invited to do crota by a friend who'd joined an lfg group. I join and there's only five of us. Where's the other I say. Re rolling his felwinters in the Tower, he's been there 40 minutes....... Indigo19 has left the fireteam. Still not done crota.

The time I started a fresh raid on hard with a bunch of 330 plus and had the middle two die everytime, and the people going to sides 1. Wouldn't rotate who carries orb 2. Forgot to shoot glass 3. Kept going mid to help those idiots and wouldn't come back to the side Yeah I quit before ships, but my next raid team did it in like two wipes

3 RespuestasI join a oryx hard checkpoint for challenge mode the message says be a 320+ and be experienced. I join the group it's 4 290s and a 300. They then asked how to do oryx. Another one is where I join a group with a guy who is helping his friend, I have no problem because he is experienced at warpriest until it comes to the brand. He is a 302 and I'm 325 he tells me to take the brand because he'll do more damage. He is using a shotgun, hand cannon and rocket. When I'm using a scout, spindle and machine gun
