How do i be a good pve gunslinger w/o celestial nighthawk?
So, whenever i play gunslinger on pve i always use celestial nighthawk, because of the immense damage of one shot, and if i use just some purple helmet, i feel like i am not contributing to the squad. What are some other armor pieces or builds to run effectively as gunslinger in pve?

1 RespuestaThe thing with most supers in pve is that they're more useful against adds rather than bosses. Acylophage Symbiote for example, gives you a four shot golden gun which is enough to gen 6 orbs from two yellow bar enemies. That *ought* to provide the other guys with supers who can then make orbs for you. Rarely happens that way of course... :-/

1 RespuestaI'd recommend using Combustion and Keyhole with Achlyophage Symbiote (if you're unsatisfied with the Nighthawk). Try to line up those Collateral shots on low-health/red-bar adds. You'll wreak havoc all across the map. It's a very unique setup to use, though, so it might take some getting used to.

1 RespuestaYou would start by first switching your subclass to nightstalker....Even with nighthawk GG is very week in PVE compared to other options.

Ever since ttk there is none. Because before ttk you could use golden gun to kill a low major and generate orbs.

I would recommend you abandon solar for void in PvE, especially if you're worried about contributing to the team. But if you're locked in to solar, make sure you are using gg on things you'll kill; not sure it will take down a large yellow bar in one shot in any of the 41+ content, might have to focus on pesky adds just to get them out if the way and at least make a couple orbs.
