So... The this week at bungie.
Ok, so what you're proposing sounds decent; have lfg in the Destiny app. I have two problems with this.
1: It took you almost two years since Destiny launched to implement this. Meanwhile, the fans have been doing your work for you. Heck planet Destiny actually has their own app out.
2: WHY NOT IN THE GAME. You could literally use the same ui you showed on the forum screenshotin the actual game. Have some sort of bulletin board system in the tower. Just please stop making us rely on using phones or laptops to micro manage the game.

1 RespuestaWe should have had this feature from the start,no doubt about that. Every other game that's a social mmo type game already has this. The division,eso,final fantasy realm reborn,all of these games make it very simple to find other people to play with. Destiny 2 better have an in game group finder and in game lore because if it doesn't it will be a deal breaker for me.

I would have to agree with this, Bungie's attempt to solicit people together for common missions, strikes etc. through another off-line site is ridiculous. There are already several sites that provide this service, so now Bungie has their own version...big deal. There are many vacant areas in the Tower and at the Vestian Outpost that could be utilized for a new vendor location, where in-game bulletin boards could be placed where Guardians would walk into and post a request or apply to activities while in-game. I'm not a big complainer here but Bungie, you really blew this one.....

3 RespuestasThey need to take a look at warframes chat system. You have squad, region, recruitment and trade chats all right in the game when you're in your ship. You never have to look away from the game unless you need to find information on the warframe wiki. It works so well it's given me a bad taste in my mouth from Bungie. There's optional matchmaking for nearly everything and if not, you hop in the recruitment chat and find a crew easily. Warframe is far more expansive and has way more content than destiny and they still manage to run everything with recruitment in game and optional matchmaking. Having the option to communicate and recruit easily within the game brings the community into the game. Warframe is free btw.. We payed out of our asses for the half ass hamster wheel experience Bungie has given us. People need to stop tossing dollar bills all over Bungie. We're not getting a lot in return.

2 RespuestasIt should be in game, period. Thanks for the app update but how about you just once fulfill a wish as we listed it, not with your own interpretation of what is required. We want in game match making, period. Just like many other reputable games do, it shouldn't have to always be Bungie's idea of what we want. I would also point out that the sniper nerf is another example, add meaningful stagger or descope when being bullet massaged, the consensus was quite clear on this matter, but once again you do what you want how you want. In a service industry you provide service, fulfill the customers needs, not come up with a way to almost meet their needs, but makes you happy. Anyway it all falls on deaf ears....

Is everyone in this game really this lazy that you cant go on the Destiny app #recruitment and look for some one that has posted or make your own post? Every single person has a cell phone, including many 6 year olds now. It literally takes me less than 5 minutes to find a group for anything I want to do including all of the old raids. This isn't some new game breaking addition, it's been there since day one they are just making it a little bit more user friendly. I guess half of you are just too dumb to realize how to use the app to your advantage. It's the same with people that say "Why should we have to go on LFG to find people, we need matchmaking for everything." Well you don't there's literally no reason for it. Use the tools that Bungie, THE CREATORS OF THE GAME, have provided for you.

Destiny seems to not care about their game at all. Every week in this week about destiny, they trace the art or something. I can't even count how many weeks have been about some artist, twitch Streamer, or who knows what. THAT'S NOT BUNGEE LOL. This week at bungee, we didn't do anything so we have to interview someone who just plays our game so we have something to talk about. Which is funny, because when they talk about art they talk like their in game art is good. But when you walk up to cables connected to the bombs in the brothers strike in the dreadnaught, they're so fake it's rediculous. I've seen better graphics in games for my ps2 than freaking destiny. Honestly, kingdom hearts, final fantasy, forza, these games smash destiny in graphics. In consoles older than the Xbox one. I don't think destiny gets it. They focus on the way their game looks, not the way it plays. And the way it looks, isn't even that great. Oh destiny.

It's not like somebody says "we should put this in the game", everybody else says "Yeah! let's do it!" and then magically a week later it's somehow in the game. There's a whole lot of things to design and code to get that shit done and done right. Secondly, they already have a companion app for these things and LFG isn't an in-game necessity per se.

Having an companion app, which is becoming more popular btw, can be managed just as easily and perhaps less intrusively than an in-game one. It's also more convenient. Think about it - don't have to goto a certain area of the game, or pull up a clunky interface on the game screen, etc...Your phone is right there and can be used regardless of where your character is at in the game world.

The point is you shouldn't have to go to use a website. Destiny was made as a do-it-yourself game.
