Please don't just reply to this with a long biased argument before reading full post and where I'm coming from. Alright so I'm gonna tell a story. A story of a casual year one warlock by the name of jeff5551 Jeff5551 was not a hardcore player. His friends were not into destiny, so he usually just played heroic strikes or crucible to bring his light up. One day jeff5551 decides he wants to play vault of glass. (This is after both expansions came out and he only bought house of wolves cuz he's a low budget casual.) So jeff5551 goes onto lfg to find a match. Pretty much everyone said "Must be light 32 need gjallahorn etc" Jeff5551 did not find a match easily. Occasionally he found decent matches, but they booted him for not knowing how to do things right. He spent all day before he found a team that led him to a hard-earned victory. Now jeff5551 plays the taken king and wants to play kings fall but doesn't want to go through the same experience with lfg. That's why I feel like matchmaking in raids would be a good feature. All you hardcore players can still search for perfect endgame players on lfg, but for all the rest of us we should at least have a matchmaking option. Please Bungie. Edit: Also have a filter for matchmaking so you can set it to give players with mics (you need a mic to turn on this filter)
