Welp the ahamkara are extinct for the most part, though we realy only consider them extinct with the range of inner plannets. so mercury, venus, mars, and earth. We do know that the hive worm gods are variants of ahamkara though their exact status is unknown. The worm god akka which resided within oryx's heart was repurposed into the ToM. And it is hinted at that their are ahamkara living out in the jovians and even co-operating or are part of The Nine. As for why the titans have no ahamkara based armor i think(speculation incoming) is because while warlocks sought them out for power(warlocks are known to be power hungry), and hunters through a competitive need to keep up with warlocks. The titans saw no real need to aquire more power, which IMO makes them the 'bigger' of the 3 subclasses.

Ahamkara still exist on venus. Get a high zoom sniper, patrol, and watch the sky for a while. Not too hard to find.

Those were confirmed by Bungie to be a different species. It came up in an interview. They're referred to as "batadactyls" I believe.

I also think it has something to do with how come the great ahamkara hunt, it was mainly warlocks and a few hunters. I don't think titans participated.
