How would you classify Overwatch and Battleborn?
I considered them MOBA's. What would you call them?
Yes, I know they are different. But they are still in the same game classification.

From what I've seen, battleborn is a moba. Changing the view to first person doesn't change the fact that it's a moba. It has three lanes and towers that you need to attack and defend, and minions that go through each lane. It's the classic moba formula with a twist. Overwatch is not a moba in any regards other than classes. As much as it hurts saying this, Overwatch is very similar to Team Fortress 2. It's a class-based shooter. It has objective and escort gamemodes, and relatively linear maps.

Battleborn is much more of a MOBA them Overwatch. Overwatch is a first person arena shooter with a moba hero picke/class picker system.

Just because they have similar qualities like move sets/special moves doesn't mean that they're the same thing. It seems people can't get this through their head. Try playing Battleborn and overwatch then telling me that they are both the same genre. Tl;Dr if Overwatch is a Moba, tf2 is as well.

Mobas have creeps, jungle mobs, build-ables, equip able items, in game leveling, ect. Bborn has all these things and did a damn good job. Overwatch has non of these aspects....well cept'for the huge verity of characters, skins and recolors

Thats it. Battleborn has a few modes that are similar to MOBA's so I can see that comparison, but Overwatch is nothing like a MOBA at all.
