Daedric Claymores are larger than an Altmer. Your slightly longer range equates to equal range to the Daedric Claymore. my spear tactics felled the mighty Umbra, a sword just as large but of even higher quality than Daedric!
-
Umbra is actually slightly weaker than Daedric Claymores and Dai-Katanas. The only special thing about Umbra is that it has a Soultrap enchantment.
-
oh right, i was thinking of Oblivion Umbra. also, spears got almost twice as much range as claymores bruh (1.8 to 1) also also, shouts make Dovahkin stronger than the Nerevarine, even with his wider range and variety of spells. detect life to counter stealth, marked for death to counter tankyness, become ethereal to dodge ANYTHING, and the OP time-slow to, slow time.
-
Does the Dovahkiin have area of effect paralysis spells? No? How about levitation and fortify movement speed? No? Welp. Not to mention several of the various artifacts the Nerevarine can acquire make them either immune to something or able to heal themselves ridiculously quickly.
-
if the dovahkin is argonian, (which mine is, argonian mustard race) then he has histskin. dovahkin also has massive AoE paralasys, with the mass paralasys spell, or even set up some paralasys runes via ash. whirlwind sprint for a sort-of shun-po. riding a dragon (which is also a powerful summonable ally) is the only real counter to levitate, lol. Dovahkin can also gain a huge amount of magic absorption/immunity inherently (to the cap, actually, of about 80% each). he can also disarm and steal your weapon (to which nerevarine can disintegrate dova gear). the dovahkin has a HUGE advantage in stealth: both can become completely invisible and hide from each other (through various ways), but ONLY the dova can detect ANY living (or unliving) hidden enemy with detect life/dead spell/shout. both dova and nerevar have distinct advantages and their own counters to such, but dova wins in this regard (stealth) undeniably, and that edge is enough for dova to beat nerevar, both bringing EVERYTHING to the table. also Bend Will, because it can not only control the minds of men/mer, but of dragons as well, who are demi-gods.
-
There actually are detect life spells in Morrowind, but they don't function in the same way as Skyrim. The Nerevarine can be completely immune to everything given enough enchanted armors or clothes, as well. Bend Will might very well be the only advantage the Dovahkiin has over the Nerevarine, if both are sufficiently kitted out. And even then, the Nerevarine is protected by prophecy (or was, at any rate) and has the favor of Azura, who would likely notice the Nerevarine's will being changed somehow. Suffice it to say, both are damn-near invincible and are better off joining forces and breaking the universe/attaining godhood together.

Dovahkin is backed by akatosh, who is higher on the pantheon than Azura, just sayin' :p and they both are pretty godly, nerevar being immortal by default, and dovahkin being able to control people (nerevar could sort-of do this too, with command creature, but not quit as potent, lore-wise).
